Sent my express mail from USPS with a return receipt cost me 24.00.

Oh and just realized y hubby did not put a date by his signature WONDERFUL. If not for me being such a perfectionist as I am we would still be putting in together.

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Sorry to butt in here, as I am not doing ROC for quite some time. But my question is, is it too early to start gathering evidence? Are any of you sending in proof from 2 years ago, or is it more recent proof? I am wondering if I should start a folder now and start putting stuff in, so in 2 years I'm not running around going crazy

The way I did it... I am pretty ####### retentive about keeping financial and other records. So I just gathered all my records one weekend and picked and chose. Photocopying was a breeze.

Never too early.

I feel kind of weird listing my children.... they're grown and out on their own with no intentions of moving here. I dunno. I just kind of feel violated.

Silly question - we don't list Don's kids....just my daughter - she's the only one involved with this application - do you really include your's

Wiz(USC) and Udella(Cdn & USC!)

Yepper I included all children this is a BIG VJ debate, I have 2 conditional kids ( remove their conditions 1/2010 ) one USC and 1 still in colombia. But the way I read it is said all, so that is what I did, I;m sure I will regret it though

Well so much of what I do is online so it was easy for me to go back two years and print stuff off.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

yep.. I would highly recommend it.. esp. things like leases, beneficiary stuff and insurance stuff.. (stuff that you only usually get one time and then file - or heaven forbid it gets lost)...

Or.. you could just scan the document and put it in a folder on your computer (which is always backed up of course), and then just print the contents of the folder when you need 'em.

And.. we always took pictures with USCIS in mind.. in fact we don't say cheese anymore we say "USCIS" :)

haha Well that is one thing that is not included in my folder and thats why I chose to give a lot of evidence. Jared and I, I'm sure, have photos somewhere. But we are not photo people so I'm not even sure how many we have. Plus, I could take pictures of us from 5 years ago and put them in there...and they wouldn't be able to tell.

This is going to be a problem for Sara and I. We are NOT photo people. We don't like pictures... so we don't have a lot. We go many places together and have a scrap book of tickets and events but we don't take photos at them.

I started saving stuff for ROC right after I moved here...

I just wanted to mention something.. someone said they included greeting cards.. IMO it would be better to send copies of the envelopes they came in, anybody could fake a greeting card......

I also didn't include that thing that came with the green card and I didn't get a RFE... nor did I send in any pictures of us...
