*grumble*

Congrats :D

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Congrats! That means thetreble and Krikit aren't far off :)

I got my actual card in the mail yesterday. I'm legal until 11/04/19 :D

But....after all of this hooha, I have to go for my citizenship as soon as I am eligible for John's work...which probably means more moola for USCIS and us

I'm just worried about my driver's license. They are not going to give me one with some extension letter and it expires in a few weeks. I have to drive to work!

Yeah I got the letter a few weeks ago. I believe I expire the second week of December or something like that. You know how it is here in Jersey. They are so tight on those kind of things. I've got my figners crossed for him and myself!

Can't you get another extension letter girl?

I have an extension letter. It's a waste of my time to go to the New Jersey DMV with it. They will tell me that is not a Green Card or a Passport and dismiss me.

Yepper here in Jersey land gotta have a 551 stamp ( even them it is a pain ) or the actual 10 year card. They are not the sharpest tools in the shed here at the DMV
