 Sorry I had to!

I got a notice in the mail from the DMV that said my drivers license was going to expired soon...

Looks like I'm going to be driving without a license!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Still waiting...and those who were approved in the VSC list filed 2 weeks after me!

Argh...I have had enough of the waiting.

I keep thinking that since they haven't updated the online status (what's the point of even having it if they never update it!) that I've missed an RFE and my life is doomed....DOOOMED I tell you!

ok...it's friday, and I'm cold, and not working, and need something good to happen...so mr postman better bring me something nice today! :P

We got one too with a bunch of BS wording as he has a CDL, ** now need to make an infopass to get the stamp so they will renew his DL. This really blows the big one.............

Just 1.5 months left to go! According to our stats.
Ha his Dl expires Dec 21 so HOPEFULLY the stats are correct.............

Eek! I got called by the local immigration office today and was asked to come in with my husband for an interview on Monday at 9am. The only thing is...my husband only has one form of picture ID right now. His driver's license has expired and since our car is broken down and we've been bussing it lately, he hasn't bothered to renew it. Does anyone know if one piece of picture ID along with a birth cert and or SSN will suffice?

Yes, I'm pretty sure all he needs is a piece of government-issued picture ID. He should be fine, Misty. Good luck on the interview! It'll be nice to get it all over with. You may even beat the current approval record! :dance:I'm kind of excited about that. lol

Okay, someone mentioned to me that since we had an interview for AOS that the chances of having an interview for ROC is less. Is that really true, or just a false sense of hope I'm clinging to?? Does anyone know?

False sense of hope....but I would like to think I won't get an interview.

Thanks, good to know. But hey, it's nice to have goals, right? So, I'm thinking a goal for us would be to NOT have an interview... ;)

Well I was in the assumption that when you don't get one for the AOS that you indeed get one for the ROC... Well I didn't have an interview since my Visa at the Montreal's embassy!

So I guess it just really depends on the case. No interview for me either way.
