Hello ROC Filers, one thing I didnt see in your list of things to include in your package is a copy of your green card (front and back) and you have to include the little card holder that your green card was sent in. Hope this helps.

Really? the little paper card holder? Where does it say that? I mean, I do have it; but I can't recall anywhere it has to be included.

I think it says it on the card holder itself, I filed about a year ago, so I am just going by memory, but I do know you have to include that. I just made a copy of it by the way, I wasnt going to part with the original, and it was fine

haha I threw that thing out a long time ago.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Pshhhhh... okay here it goesssssssssss!

Dear USCIS examiner:

Enclosed please find a JOINT I-751 petition for the removal of conditions of permanent resident status regarding my wife, Amanda Deo. Please also find a check for $545.00, the fee for this form. My wife entered the US as a visitor and I, unknowingly to her before her entry, ended up proposing to her. We then applied for I-130, I-485 and I-765 concurrently. We are very happy living together, with our two dogs Bella and Oscar, and request that this petition be accepted for removal of conditions on the residence of my wife.

Also, please find the following documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

• Copies of the passport and green card for Amanda Deo

• Copies of our joint tax return processed by H & R Block for 2007 and 2008

• Various copies of joint bank account statements from Washington Mutual/JP Morgan Chase over the past few years

• Copies of our joint car insurance

• Copies of both of our driver’s licenses to show both Amanda and Jared’s place of residence

• Copy of the deed to the house we purchased together in December 2008

• Copy of our visa cards showing a joint account

• Copies of our visa bills showing us both on the account and that we reside at the same address

• Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy

• Monthly mortgage statements showing that we both reside in our household

• Home Owner’s Insurance policy that is in both of our names

• A copy of a recent gas bill in both of our names

• A copy of our airline reservations and tickets to a recent trip to the Domincan Republic we took together in May 2009

You may feel free to inquire at any of the sources of enclosed documentation for validity of their statements, and you are always welcome to visit our home should you ever desire to do so. Please advise me if you have any further questions or problems related to this petition.

Sincerely,

Mista Lova Lova.

Hello ROC Filers, one thing I didnt see in your list of things to include in your package is a copy of your green card (front and back) and you have to include the little card holder that your green card was sent in. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry . but that is some BS someone added IMO....

From the instructions of the I-751

What Initial Evidence Is Required?

Permanent Resident Card You must file your petition with a copy of your Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Card, and a copy of the Permanent Resident or Alien Registration cards of any of your conditional resident children you are including in your petition. Submit copies of both front and back sides of the card.

I have included everything stated in the instructions. Here's one thing. I didn't include our marriage license, because that was already provided in the AOS package, hence the reason the AOS was approved. They know you are married, they just need to know you are still living like it.

I didn't include copies of our driver's licenses, because I included copies of our car insurance policy, which means that we have driver's license....

I didn't include copies of any sorts of Debit cards, Credit cards, etc like someone suggested on this very website in the Removal of conditions tips sticky, because that is NOT pertinent to any sort of proof of relationship. And it's too much personnal information given out.

Here's my check list ( actually part of my cover letter)

Contents include:

-Payment in the amount of $545.00 (I-751 and Biometric services) with a check with both names on it

-I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

-Copy of Permanent Resident Card (front and back)

-Copies of Federal and State taxes for 2007 and 2008 filed jointly

-Copies of joint account statements since December 2007

-Copies of electricity bills with both names

-Copies of phone bills with both names

-Copies of Apartment lease contract with both names since April 2007

-Copies of car insurance with both names

-Copies of Vehicle purchase contract with both names in March 09

-Copies of Vehicle Registration with the city of ******* with both names for the years 2008 and 2009

-Affidavit from hubby's friend

-Affidavit from hubby's mother

-8 pictures with friends and family since the wedding

And no need to mention that any sort of policy or account numbers have been blacked out. Hope it helps anyone. And I didn't use any Acco fastener this time because I could only find a package of 5 for 12$ and I don't need that many. And they will refile in their own type of flier anyways. I saw my K-1 package in their own binder at my interview so they don't really care about the acco fastener. As long as everything is clear, clean , and in order IMO....

No, I've never seen anyone say they included the little card holder in their package. If it IS required, I'll be getting an RFE I guess....

I included our DL's, to show proof of domicile, that it's the same for both of us, as documented by the State gov't. I included the credit card statements, blacked out numbers, as it shows both of our names on it. I've never seen it advocated that people make copies of their cards, but their statements, yes. Personal information? What are you worried about? The people who get your package have enough information on you whether you include copies of bank statements, credit card statements, or anything for that matter to commit fraud if they wanted.

Good thinking on the marriage certificate. Won't hurt mind you that I sent in mine but you're right, they already know we're married.

I saw someone highly suggesting to include copies of all their cards, etc in the Removal of Conditions Tips sticky thread. I understand that they have a lot of informations on us, and yes I did include copies of all the statements, but other than our address all other account information, etc are blacked out.

Even though USCIS have a lot of informations on us, SSB, addresses, etc, I still don't trust every person that will put a hand on my application, and I wouldnt recommend to put more information than needed, aka debit cards, credit cards, bank account numbers, driver license numbers, etc But that's just me. I even crossed out any license plate numbers or VIN from our vehicles appearing on the paperwork.

As for the card holder, like I previously stated, it doesnt appear anywhere in the instructions. What I wrote in blue is straight from . There is no reason for anyone to believe it is required if it doesn't appear in the instructions. I am sure you won't get a RFE for that matter Carla :star:

I did not include that little filer thing that came with my green card and I received no RFE's and received my 10 year card without a problem. The little filer thing is to be used if you need to replace your current green card because it has gone missing or has been stolen, not for use in applying to remove conditions on your green card in order to get the 10 year card.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
