I have a quick question about ROC...just trying to get a general picture of what's ahead... I'm not familiar with the ROC process...

Do you file at 2 years from receiving your GC? I saw somewhere that you can file up to 90 days before it expires?

Do you have to do another biometrics?

Provide proof of the relationship?

Like AOS, is there a possibility of an interview? But if you get a CSC transfer, you may not get an interview?

And how much does it cost? I'll be filing for myself and my son.

Then you get a 10 year GC?

I'll check the guides for costs...and I know ive got a couple of years, just want to make myself familiar with it...

thanks :)

You have to file within the 90 day window before your green card expires

Do you have to do another biometrics?
Yes

Provide proof of the relationship?
Yes

Yes and Yes

And how much does it cost? I'll be filing for myself and my son.
The fee is $465 plus $80 for biometrics plus another $80 for your son's biometrics. The amount could changed by the time you file though.

Then you get a 10 year GC?
If you are approved, yes, you get a 10-year green card.

Reporting from an undisclosed location

Fingerprints, check

Picture, check (appropriate photo makeup tricks were used, yeah!)

Ugly looks from ugly people at the Seattle office, check

Best behavior, check

:)

Alright, my turn tomorrow at noon ;)

I'm gonna straighten my hair tomorrow morning (which I normally don't do in the summer because it curls too fast) Don't want to look like a dork for a picture that's gonna follow me 10 freaking years right <_<

Congratulations, Neiks!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Yay Neiks!

Haven't read any other posts except this last page so please forgive me.... I don't have any braincells at the moment. I don't have any news because the post office neglected to resume delivery. Had to call them and they've apologized for the mixup. Will let you know if there's anything in tomorrow's delivery.

Hey girly girls,

My hubby and I went for his biometrics on Friday and it couldn't be easier. There were only 2 people in front of us and the employees there couldn't be nicer, weird huh? Plus it smelled funny... :dead:

But anyway... waiting for our approval to get this over wiffff.
