Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Change of plans, I'm busting my butt to get my ROC out asap this week. My mom informed me on Friday that she wants to "kidnap" my son & me after our trip to Disney World mid-Aug to spend 2-3 weeks in Canada. I'd rather have the ball rolling on my ROC and my NOA to avoid unnecessary drama at the border and I'm too nervous to wait until we get back home to send it off in case I forget something, it's sent back to me, and they get it back too late. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Damn USCIS for being a PITA! Now I just hope things work in my favour and my bio appt isn't scheduled for when I'm in Canada. Anyone have any experience with rescheduling a bio appointment? Walk-ins aren't exactly an option because, as I've mentioned before, my local office is a 5+ hour long drive one way. :bonk:

I had to reschedule a bio appointment before. The notice you receive will include an option if you are not able to make the scheduled appointment. Some allow walk-ins and suggest that option; others say to send back the notice (keep a copy) requesting a reschedule. Include the reason that you were out of the country at the time. You shouldn't have a problem and should receive the new appointment within a few weeks.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Whoo! Another biometrics appointment to be completed! Have fun, Carla.

They won't deliver my held mail until this afternoon, NArocks. Hopefully, my biometrics letter is in there. I really really hope that it's scheduled for when I'm back from my hols so that I don't have another item to add to my to-do list between today and tomorrow. icon2.gif

Welcome to the thread, Karly-n-Bruce!
