Well tomorrow they will try to flip Khalil around. I'm a little nervous so I'm headed into work at 6am so that I can try not to think about it. I will let everyone know the procedure that goes on and the outcome so in case anyone else ends up in our situation it might be helpful. Hope things are going great for everyone and remember to drink your water!!

@Amera, good luck today. I hope they can turn the little one around so you both can have a good birth experience. Either way though, don't blame yourself for ANYTHING. That is just the way it goes, it's nature...sometimes there is nothing you can do about it. I'm thinking about you.

As for me. We are doing great. My parents were supposed to leave last night but our airport (Jacksonville, NC it's a tiny one) grounded all flights because of fog so they booked them on another flight out of Wilmington today and we took them back home. A cab just picked them up an hour ago and after feeling kinda empty and alone I'm doing a lot better (I stopped crying, that is good). So instead of going Jacksonville, Charlotte, Berlin...they are now going Wilmington, Charlotte, Atlanta, JFK, Berlin GREAT HUH? Good thing they didn't have plans for tomorrow. They'd be screwed.

ANyway. Baby Adam is doing very good. Mommy's been drinking a lot of water and he keeps pushing his butt in my lungs and his feet in my ribs. Sometimes I think he is a millipede  . The sleeping is still very good, my belly is growing bigger by the hour, no strechmarks (yet) and no swollen feet, ankles, fingers etc. Just hope the birth is going to be that smooth.

Hi Everyone

We found out yesterday that I am pregnant.

Can I join this fun thread!?!

Just saw this post now. CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy. Of course you can join this thread.

BTW, has anyone heard from Sam? She hasn't posted much lately. Just wondering how she was doing (probably busy working...)

Thanks

This is not my first - I have an 8 year old son, it feels like so long ago.

I had miscarried Jan last year very early in the pregnancy so I am resting a lot right now, saying that this pregnancy at 4-5 weeks feels totally different to the last - on headaches or stomach pains.

I'm happy to say I'm feeling sick, very very sore huge boobs - already!!! I have 2 that fit at 34 E

Amera - I hope that the baby manages to turn! My son Josiah was so lazy he didn't want to either, it took yoga and a few pokes here and there and he finally moved - quite late in the pregancy!!

Eveline - Good news about no swollen ankles and feet - I got mine in the last two weeks I definately got stretchmarks lots of them ( they faded fast though) as before I had my son I was a US size 4 - I went up to size 12!!! Ate like crazy!!!

Amera: I hope that everything works out and the baby turns around. It's good that you are trying to keep your mind off of it by heading into work. Just keep thinking positively and post here as much as you can for venting purposes. We are here to listen.

Eveline: It's so hard when we have relatives over and then they leave. The house feels so empty and full of memories of them. But you will see them again pretty soon don't worry! I haven't had any swelling either but who knows I still have 10 or so more weeks! The baby has been pushing up on my bladder and everytime I use the washroom I have to go right after I get comfy again!

Ice2005: It's so great to see another preggo on here! You know when I got pregnant I had no clue so when hubby's brother and wife came for a visit we all went to the amusement park and they dragged me along with them on some scary rides! lol I suspected being preggers but we had so many false alarms before so I would force the idea out of my head. I think that is why this baby is so active! Reading that your stretchmarks went away makes me have hope that mine will too. I have come to terms that they are there but would prefer they go away ASAP! : )

Well it worked! It didn't take more than 20 minutes (did take almost an hour to get the IV in though..) and it was uncomfortable but I wouldn't say that it was horrible - I've been in more pain before! Now hopefully he'll keep his head down and get ready to come out! If he does spin back around they will try again on January 1st and once they turn him they will immediately induce me to get him out. But for now things look like we'll just be holding on until he's ready!

@Amera, I'm happy to see that the doctors really want to make that natural birth possible and don't give up on trying to turn your little one. I hope for you that it works out.

@Nizzy, my parents are still in the country (actually State). They didn't leave again yesterday (flights grounded because of fog) and were supposed to leave at 630 am today but I just checked and that flight is delayed again. Won't leave before 10 am today. Luckily they have a 8 hour layover so I hope they will still make it anyway today. They are so pissed and have to go back to work on Monday IF they ever make it home.

Hey Sammy, good to hear that you are doing ok. I was wondering but figured that you were busy at work and then sleeping (that is what I did most of the time). The first kicks I felt at around 18 weeks but the doctor told me that that would be waaaay tooooo early and I kinda shook it off as gas or just overexcitement about everything but I kept feeling little "movements" that felt more like twitches in my belly. Eventually you could feel those "twitches" outside and from then on my husband went "hunting" for every single movement there was  but it took him a while until he eventually timed it right. Now it feels more like he is going to tear me apart in the middle. Those kicks got so strong and my belly is always in the way when I bend down or even try to get up from the couch.... and there are still about 9 weeks to go OMG. Well, anyway. I hope you'll start showing soon just so you can wear maternity clothes (buying pants is a hassle, at least for me) and show everybody your new belly. All the best and keep us updated...

(peanut just woke up :luv: , kicking like crazy again)
