Well what we thought was an erupting tooth is not a tooth according to my baby's doctor. The Doctor stated that our baby has a salivary port cyst and that it will go away on its own--its pure white like a tooth but on the side of the gum just below the gum-line so we thought it might be the corner of his tooth. Regardless it is not bothering him in the least bit--but still has anyone heard of a salivary port cyst? I am trying to google it but can't seem to find what I am looking for.

Haven't heard anything about it. Would have been a bit early for a tooth anyways, no? If the doc says no worries and the baby has no problems with it, then don't worry too much about it. Your boy smiling a lot yet? Our baby girl puts on the sweetest smile every day when I get home from work. Makes daddy's heart melt...

@Artegal. I'm sure it's nothing serious. Some things just vanish like that when the babies are getting older and as long as your doctor can reassure you that everything is fine, I wouldn't worry about it too much (I know that is easier said then done).

@Reinhard. Your little girl looks like an angel. She is so cute. Congratulations once again. I can't wait to meet our baby boy.

As for Peanut...he is kicking A LOT. I don't know if I had too much sugar yesterday or if he just had an active day but I put my husbands hands on my belly (right under the ribcage) and he could actually feel how Peanut was pushing with his feet or hands along my ribs...I don't know how to describe it but it was kind of a gliding motion from the left side to the right side and then I felt kicks in my bladder again...Oh boy...Well, an active baby is a happy baby, right? :luv:

Have you noticed his sleep patterns yet? Our little bean is quite active in the evening until dawn or so and then he is quiet and I get some kicks here and there but nothing too major. He kicks alot after I eat, maybe he gets cramped in there. The kicks are getting kind of uncomfortable but I still think it's adorable!

Oh yes I have. He is usually awake when I wake up (somethimes he wakes me up) which is around 6 in the morning. Then I get kicks again around noon and then again in the afternoon or after dinner. When I had something sugary...he is extrahyper. One day I hardly felt him at all and I kinda freaked out and I was soo glad to see my belly moving again the next day.

That's what I'm going through right now! He wasn't as active as usual last night so I'm sort of freaking out and trying to talk him into giving me some kicks. I think it's funny how the thing I complain about is the very same thing I yearn for right now. I have been feeling some pain in my lower abdomen and had some cramps during the night. I don't know what it is but I'm a little scared.

And the least important thing on my list (but still causing me to worry and showing my vanity : ) I noticed stretch marks!!!!!!!!!! They're around my bellybutton. I told my husband and he thinks I'm funny for being worried about that. I don't understand why I got them though I rub my belly twice a day with cocoa butter and pure shea butter.

Oh no Nizzy. I hope your little one has given you some good kicks by now. Ours here is very active and kicking me in the ribs like a good kid.

Well, about the stretchmarks. You either get them or you don't. They say if your mom and grandma had them, you are most likely to get them too but even when nobody in your family has them...you might get them as well. I haven't noticed anything yet and I lotion my belly every night too (takes some of the itching away).

I wouldn't worry about it just yet Nizzy. I know it's only natural to panic, but give it a day anyway. You will probably find the kicking pick up again. I have had this a few times. Babies have their days where they just feel like chilling.....just like we do. Try to relax and if you are still worried, try eating something sugary or sipping on a Coke (regular). Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the support gals. I love this thread! Well he started kicking after I had some pie and now he has stopped again. But I was soooo greatful that everything is okay. I think the pain I am feeling is related to the position I sit in. My mom has been telling me to stop sitting with my legs folded but that's the only position that feels comfy. But if I'm gonna feel pain everytime I walk then I need to start changing.

About the stretchmarks: There aren't a lot but still there. I have read that they will go away/decrease in appearance just as long as you keep lotioning so I won't get too stressed about it until after giving birth. I've just been really emotional and feeling unattractive so little things like that add to my worries.

Glad to hear everything's ok Nizzy...mine has quiet days too, only to make up for it later!

I'm also getting crampy and achy around my lower belly. I imagine its muscles stretching, etc. It is worse if I sit for long periods, I feel a lot of pressure when I stand up. It's hard to know what's normal and what's not the first time!

Much to my husband's amusement, I have "cankles" most of the time now too! (Can't tell where the calves end and the ankles begin!)

Oh the joys!! ;)

Just a little note about the baby moving issue. The baby should move 4-5 times every half hour (minus the down time - it's normal for a baby to have part of the day or night that they generally sleep). If you are not feeling movement you should stop what you're doing and lay down on your side (left side they say is the best - not sure why). After you rest for a bit it should start moving again. Also drink a big glass of water first. A lot of times they slow down movements because you are dehydrated. If you're not feeling movement for a few hours and if there is even one day when the baby doesn't move you should immediately call your doctor - do not wait and see what happens. I'm not a doctor but I've been there (almost 2!) pregnancies now and both my boys seem to be stubborn movers so I've experienced this a great deal!

Oh yea and one more little thing - there's no way to prevent stretch marks - doesn't matter how much lotion you rub on. It might help a little (Vitamin E oil is supposed to help) but they are an inevitable part of having a child. Unless you are blessed with the no stretching gene lol!

@Irisheyes. I have been having a lot of Braxton Hicks Contractions lately (well, they actually started around week 21 already) and I noticed that they are worse when I'm sitting down or when my bladder is full. One day I had about three after one another and I freaked out and called Labor and Delivery. They told me to DRINK LOOOOOTS OF WATER, lay down and count the contractions for half a hour...if there are more than five, come in immediately. Well, needless to say that - as soon as I was lying down - I was a lot better and also I didn't drink enough the day before. I have always been a lazy drinker and have to force it in me but oh well...whatever is good for the baby (and my skin). Now I have them about once or twice a day, they don't hurt but are very uncomfortable.

spa day...lol...I think maybe dehudration could be a part of it because as much as I try to drink a lot of water it is hard for me to do so. It doesn't help that I have to pee 10 times in 30 minutes which makes me wanna cut back on the amount I drink. But yesterday I drank a HUGE bottle of water and he was kicking after that! He kicks when there is loud music as well. I have pain when I sit for a long time as well. I spent the day yesterday walking for a couple of minutes every few hours. And Eveline I know how you feel about the bladder being full. I get such bad pain if I don't go right away. And it might be gross but I get bad back pain when I am constipated. It sucks that we are going through these aches and pains but it helps to know that others are going through similar things so helps me to not freak out as much.

Way to go NIzzy. I can't stop grinning just by thinking that in a little over three months I'm gonna be a mom. I have 103 days to go so I'm right there with you.
