Only 8 DAYS???? OMG I'm so jealous......how exciting. I can't wait until it's days and not weeks!

Be sure to check in after with pics!

you bet I will!!!! ... I have this feeling he is going to be sooooooo BIG! I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead of where I should be. 3 weeks ago I had an ultrasound that had him measuring at over 6 pounds, so we are looking at least another added 2 pounds to that!!

But at least I know he will be here on the 19th and I can't wait!!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I just need to hear some words of encouragement and as much advice and pointers as I can get.

I live in the UK, and my partner is a USC and lives in Florida with her 3 children from a previous marriage. We found out about 6 weeks ago that she is pregnant with our first child together, but since this wonderfull news tensions and emotions have been sooo high that its driving us apart (something that neither of us want).

Neither of us are working at the moment which really doesnt help, but thats not our main prob as i am a qualified European airline pilot although am waiting for my first job, which I am as close as to smell!

Now with my fiancee's emotions being so messed up she wants me there with her ASAP to help support her mentally and also with her children. We both also want me to see her develop and feel teh first kicks and birth etc etc.

We both agree that we need the fastest way of being together, but in a way that wont preclude us from seeing each other on a regular basis whilst it is approved. I have read that visiting the US whilst waiting on a K1 visa might well be frowned upon, whereas I havent seen any info regarding visitation if we were married and applying via a K3 visa.

I am shaking with nerves and emotions......please help.

P.S. The baby is due Feb 6th 2007

@ Runandbreak-

Congratulations!

You can always visit the US using a tourist visa and stay up to 90 days while you are waiting for your petition to be approved. Good luck!

Hi everyone. I am having my first ultrasound on July 28...well I think that's what the doctor meant because she said that we will get to hear the heartbeat...I can't wait because sometimes I don't believe I'm actually pregnant...the morning sickness has subsided tremendously so I go about my day as if there's nothing going on...it will be great to hear the little heart...

I just heard an interesting things today on Dr Phil.... he says that the first year of the baby's life can cost anywhere between 10, 000 and 22,000 dollars :o

that can't be true...

I am assuming he might be talking about people who don't have health insurance and have to pay for the birth etc....

I know the baby will cost us money but 10,000 dollars a year :o

Hubby has a huge family so most of our big ticket items we won't have to buy, like a crib, stroller, car seat etc...

so most of the monthly exspenses will be diapers and formula....
