I got my prenatal vitamins today... now I have a silly question.... do I take them with food and can I take them whenever or is there a certain time of day that is best?

yes you can take them with food... I found it best to take mine at night as they sometimes made me feel sick... so if I take them at night I sleep through that feeling.

DEFINITELY starting over....haha.

We are having a girl and I am over the moon since I have two boys......I had an amnio so it's for sure!

If you haven't checked it out, the message boards at

http://www.babycenter.com/?h=true

are great, there is pretty much a board for ANYTHING you can imagine, including pre-conception stuff!

Good luck!!!

Congrats on having a girl! The amnio must have been scary!!! Girls are awesome! I have a girl who will be turning 12 and a boy who is 9. My boy is a cry baby LOL. My daughter is EXACTLY like me. I think I should be worried haha. She has the same personality as me, and she is so funny.

I am registered on that board already actually. I haven't been there in a while though. I'll have to check it out again :)

Not pregnant (yet), but do you girls or guys think we're nuts that we're going to try? We only got married in September of last year, haven't even been married a year. Paul really wants one now and I feel like I shouldn't wait too long because I am going on 33. What do you peeps think? lol peeps.

honestly??? it shouldn't matter at all what strangers on the internet think about whether you start a family right now. this is definitely a decision that you and your husband should be making together.

there are pros and cons to each side of the argument: have them now or wait. i'm sure you have an answer deep down inside you ... you just need to search for it!

best of luck!!!

No of course not, it doesn't matter what strangers think because eventually we're going to do what we feel is right. I just wanted to hear what other people thought about it and if anyone else is in the same situation as us. I guess the bottom line is, I'm kinda scared, but I guess those are normal feelings. I had two children from a previous marriage that are now 12 and 9. WHOA! I feel really old now LOL

We are also starting over... I'm 36 today, and I'm due Aug. 1st with our baby boy...

I have a 12 year old son and a 9 year old daughter from my first marriage...

and Andy has a 19 year old son and 14 year old twin daughters by first partner.

We got pregnant the day Andy immigrated... lol soooo who is for waiting...hehe

Good luck and follow your heart!!!

Patricia

P.S. I go to a specialist today and will find out when we will have our lil one by scheduled c-section.... I will post an update after my appointment for anyone who is interested...

Well happy birthday to you!!! :star:

lol well seeing your posts and the others, I think we waited long enough lol. That is so cool. Now I don't have to feel alone in starting over. Our kids are the same ages :D

Eric and Gen, your baby is adorable!!! :)(F)

Patricia and Andy, that is amazing! They didn't have those when I had my kids.

Why wife changed the type of vitamins until she found some that didn't upset her stomach. She takes them twice a day--not always at the same time--and sometimes with a meal or sometimes just with a glass of milk or something. The prescribed vitamins usually have instructions on when to take them--but its a guide not a rule.
