My hubby and I are having a heck of a time agreeing on boy's names.... we have a few girl's names picked out....

we have been talking about baby names long, long before we were even pregnant

the girl's names we have picked out are...

Melissa Rae

Sara Emily

Samantha

Emma

Kaitlyn

I really like Nicholas for a boy but hubby doesn't :P or I was thinking of Will (my dad and my grandpa both are named Will) but hubby doesn't like that either :P

He hasn't really told me what names he likes for a boy :P

I love the name Emma!

We also think about baby names sometimes, even though we aren't pregnant yet (and not yet trying, but maybe not too much longer!).

Emily is nice. It only came in second for us, though.

And, no, I am not discussing (yet) what came in first.

I like Emily has a first name but hubby says that name is too popular right now :P

We don't plan on telling people the name until after the baby is born ..... but we are planning on finding out if we are having a boy or a girl

In hubby's family usually the first boy is named after the dad... Well his oldest sister named her youngest son, David :P...

If we have a boy I don't think we would have named him David anyways but we might use it has a middle name

My grandparents did a strange thing...I know it's normal for a child to be named after a parent...but they named both children after themselves!! :o

My grandpa and my dad=Raymond

my grandma and my aunt(dad's sister)=Margaret

so both are Jr's (not other siblings)...I have no idea why they did that for BOTH. Lack of creativity?

Are you guys not telling the baby's name to people for tradition's sake or something? I know some people just don't tell, and others do. I think I will tell ppl before the baby is born(even though I am not pregnant!) because I like when people refer to the baby by it's name even while it's still in the womb, it's like bonding with everyone before they arrive.

could be ....

I don't really like that naming the child after one of the parents but I was thinking of Will because my grandpa (my mom's dad) who just died a few months ago was named Willie and my dad's name is William.....

I didn't really want to find out the sex of the baby but hubby kind of talked me into it :P.... so we don't want to tell the name because we want to keep something a surprise..

Which is one of the reasons that name came in second...

Same here. We'll keep her name to ourselves (well, we shared with family) until after our daughter is born.

I see, well that's cool. :)

One of my friends is having a baby girl, due end of Sept and we all talk about her(the baby) all the time now, little Sophia in her mom's womb. (L) But it's also cool to surprise people.

Marilyn, congratulations on your pregnancy! How are you feeling since you are in your first trimester?

There are soo many girl names I like..

My grandma's name is Emma and my nieces name is Melissa.. good luck picking a name! Are you secretly hoping for a boy or a girl??

I am now 13 weeks pregnant and had my doc's appointment yesterday. Everything looks fine and we are eager to find the gender of the baby! We really don't care if it is a boy or a girl but it would be nice to know so I can start buying these little cute outfits and pick up a nursery.. I can't wait! :D

Have a good and relaxing evening, Everyone!

I am feeling ok but my stomach feels queasy alot.... and I find a lot of food unapplealing even though I am hungry :P.... I kind of have a major craving for garden salads and fruit but of course I don't have any salad stuff at home but payday is tommorrow.... going to stock up on crackers and ginger ale and salad stuff and fruit....

Girl's names are easy to pick out... boy's names are a lot harder... I don't want a preppy sounding name :P

I kind of want a girl but we will be extremely happy with whatever we have :D

My sis-in-law and hubby's cousin are probably already planning the baby shower  ....

I have an appointment tomorrow to find out how far along I am and then I have to schedule a OB-GYN appointment, so I can get poked and prodded :P... I just love doctors :P

I am very confused now....

What kind of doctor do I need for prenatal care?

a OB-GYN , a GYNECOLOgist or a OBSTETRICian?

I just called a doctor and in her info it said her specialties were: Maternal & Fetal Med/Perinatology, Obstericas and Gynecology.... Well, like I said I called and asked if she was accepting any new patients and the lady said she is Perinatologist is that what you need and I said no, I was looking for a Ob-Gyn and she said sorry, we don't have any of those here... .... there was another doctor in that same office that was on my list too and it says her specialities are obstetrics and gynecology...

Now I am really confused
