i love the names Marilyn! not that you need a thumbs up in any regard - but I said an audible "awwww" when I read them :)

thanks ....

my darling hubby informed me yesterday that yes Samuel is one of our top choices but he wants to come up with a list of names to choose from... :P

but ever since I thought of Samuel I can't think of any other names that I would want :P

Kaitlyn is a for sure though.. we had that name picked out from the last time...

my hubby can't make it to the ultrasound so I am going to have the person write it down and stuff it in an envelope so hubby and I can find out together later when he gets home from work...

I just hope I don't inadvertently find out while watching the ultrasound

Good names Marilyn!

I passed the gestational diabetes screening(1 hour test). Yay!

I am sore though. I guess my veins are hard to get at, and the nurse who tried claims to be good at it, I doubt it. They were taking blood to test iron and something else. She tried me 3 different places, the last place on my forearm and all she accomplished was giving me a huge bruise that formed instantly. Grr. It really hurts. I am not so bad about needles but the last needle was horrible. So since she couldn't do it she said I'll have to go to the lab to get it done instead. The lady who got blood from me last time(who had to do it after this same nurse attempted) wasn't there today. Besides that, I'm happy I passed the test!

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Just out of curiosity, has anyone had invasive pre-natal testing in this thread? or chorionic villus sampling? I'm just nosy cause that's what I used to do for a living.

no, not sure if I want to get Amniocentesis done, if there is need for it...

I did just get blood taken to test for down syndrome etc...

I didn't have any invasive tests done. I assume because I am young and healthy(ot this is what I like to think).

Christina, I feel your pain. Once a nurse had to take my blood 5 times because she couldn't reach my vein. She even took it from my hand. It hurt like hell. They had to call an anesthesiologist after all to get my blood taken!!!! I thought I would pass out.
