Maryum, congrats!! That's good that he's being a nice quiet baby! hehe

Does anyone else think spending $100 or more on a diaper bag is ridiculous? Actually I wouldn't spend much more than $30, haha. But there are lots of people out there buying really expensive diaper bags and I don't get it.

I just bought mine at Kohl's this weekend. $5.95!! It was on clearance 90% off :) It isn't specifically a diaperbag, but it is big enough and has different sections and I love it! It is kind of like a big purse with some structure. If I was loaded, I would get a nice Coach diaper bag. But I am not :P

Yeah our hospital gives 2 diaper bags and a huge gift basket from local businesses for mommies going home. I guess it's because we're a small area and there are a tonne of babies being born hehe I keep looking for good deals, especially for a new car seat and stroller, but I find it hard spending money just now as I'm only 19 weeks today.

I don't want a diaper bag that looks like a diaper bag because hubby would never carry around a Winnie the pooh diaper bag

they had some nice ones at Target...

we are lucky because I am sure his family will get us most of the big stuff, like stroller, high chair, playpen etc...

I think this is the one I had picked out last time.... it is Eddie Bauer and it is like $35...

as for a high chair I liked this one because it won't take up as much space and it would be easy to transport to other people's houses etc... and it also converts to a booster chair for when the child gets older... it is only about $50....

Anna-I love finding bargains!

Marilyn-A couple we are friends with has that high chair and they seem to really like it.

We are planning on getting a high chair from IKEA, it's $18 something and the food tray to attach on is $5. Another couple we know has it and it still works good for their 1 year old. It's also light and easy to move. It looks unsturdy but it's surprisingly not. Some may think it looks ugly but I like how it looks. It looks mod. My friends have it with a green top so maybe they still have more color choices for the top than just the white which is on their website.

I put a diaper bag on my registry at Walmart, it's also not very baby looking but still kinda cute, now it's not showing up on Walmart's site so I can't show! Oh, never mind I found it somehow...I liked it better than some at Target. (I registered at Walmart and Target). It's $19.84 or something like that.

Be careful when you register at Target as they have changed their return policy. From what I have heard they will not even return duplicate items from the Baby Registry now unless you have a receipt or gift receipt etc.

I never used my Diaperbag. I bought one that my husband could use too but in the end I'm using a big tote with just a changing pad from Fisher price and that holds everything I need. Sometimes I feel like a packmule but it's better than carrying two purses around. Also, I don't use a stroller, I rather carry ADam in my MeiTai, he loves it and I don't have to struggle with a big a** stroller when I'm at the mall or so.
