Hi Everyone! It has been awhile since I have posted...how is everyone? Don't the weeks fly by? I am so excited to almost be out of the 2nd trimester and into the home stretch!! My belly is so big!! I can see the baby moving and it is so cool. We have painted the baby room and assembled some of the furniture :) I am using cloth diapers, and I have washed all the prefolds and still need to wash the covers. I am getting very excited :P

Marilyn-

They say in the 2nd (and more) pregnancies, you show earlier than with your first because your body remembers what to do. So that's probably why! :)

Anna-Hi! You have more done that us! We were supposed to start already but some issues happened, we still have to prepare the baby's room. Right now I am sitting in it on the computer since it's the office room/spare bedroom. We have to move all the office stuff out. We are debating painting or not only because we want to move next year and don't know if it's worth it to paint. Glad you are doing good! :)

I am good but achy. :( I am having pelvic pain and groin pain every day. I can still function but laying in bed and trying to turn from side to side is the worst.

In good news, my baby shower is this Sunday. I can't wait, hehe. Then we will have most of the things we need to put into the baby's room, which we will hopefully clear out on Saturday!

mmm, taht might explain it....

we were thinking that maybe I was having twins  but the report from my first ultrasound around 8 weeks said "single, living, intrauterine gestation is identified"

hubby loves my belly and says he can't wait until it gets bigger :P

maybe more of a myth/fable aka "old wives' tale". My mum "showed" more with my older sister (4 kg @ birth), and very little with me (3.8 kg @ birth).

I don't really have a nice pregnant belly... :( hehe it's not perfectly round or anything even though I am over 6 months now. I guess each body handles it differently and plus I wasn't thin when I started the pregnancy, so I have to wear pregnancy shirts to make it more obvious otherwise I just look like I gained a little weight. I don't know if it will ever get really round! lol

Maryum, congrats!! That's good that he's being a nice quiet baby! hehe

Does anyone else think spending $100 or more on a diaper bag is ridiculous? Actually I wouldn't spend much more than $30, haha. But there are lots of people out there buying really expensive diaper bags and I don't get it.

Personally I would buy what I can afford. I will probably buy mine at Wal-mart or Target.

As for belly growth, I literally didn't have a belly until I hit around 30 weeks, people are actually asking about the pregnancy instead of wondering how many donuts I have eaten lol.
