Heyyy only 3 months pregnant and you're changing your clothes already????? ummm I think is a big excuse cause IT HAPPENED TO ME hahaha. I remember getting out from the hospital where they told that I was pregnant and the day after that, I was in front of the mirrow telling my husband..ohhh my pants didn't close any more..my hips are bigger..I need some new clothes hahaha

I'm already 7 months pregnant now and thanks God I'm still wearing my jeans with a special band that I bought..It's a very good idea actually cause I will be able to used it after delivering the baby.

Just one thing..don't buy too many pregnant clothes cause they are only for 9 months and then you have to throw them away!!!!

I agree and also I bought some stuff early in my pregnancy thats still too big and I guess I'll never wear it since I am almost done.

I am sure my office is getting sick of seeing me in the same stuff over and over but hey, I wasnt going to go buy an entire new wardrobe for just a few months.

whats funnier is that my feet swelled and spread so much that I only have 2 pairs of shoes I can still fit in!

I had to buy a lot of clothes. I work in the office and I need to look polished and professional. I can't wear the same clothes every day.

Besides the clothes I bought 2 months ago is all summer clothes and it doesn't really fit me that well any more since my belly has grown for 2 months. Besides, it is cooling down here in Missouri, you have to wear warmer outfits.

You don't need to throw away your maternity clothes, save it for baby #2 or give it away to another expecting mother. She will be grateful.

I love Destination Maternity. They have the cutest dresses! I intend to wear them even after I am not pregnant any more.

Nizzy-Thanks for the Old Navy tip. I do love that store but there aren't any with the maternity sections close to me and I get nervous ordering things w/o trying them on. The bottoms aren't always good for me there but tops usually are. I have bought some regular tops there that aren't even maternity but have some extra room for the next month or so. :P

I have found a couple good things on ebay so far. As long as they are in good condition, it's fine with me and saves a bunch of money. My most comfy maternity jeans so far I got on ebay, they are brand Duo from JCPenney. So then I ordered a new pair from JCP.com in the same size but a little different style, and they are big. Doesn't make sense! But hopefully I'll grow into them. :)

As for clothes-

When you are done with them and if they have no stains or rips, sell them on ebay! There is a huge maternity market there and ppl will buy your clothes. You won't make all your money back b/c you'll have to list them at a lower price but at least you might get enough back to buy yourself some new clothes for after the baby is born.

Stina: The Target near here has some really nice maternity clothes. They aren't expensive either. You may want to check that out. I've always thought once I get pregnant I'm heading to Target to get me some clothes.

Excellent suggestion. I have to dress up for work often, as well, and my dress pants just don't work for me anymore. I'll definitely be looking into getting at least a few pairs of comfortable, nice maternity outfits to last me for the next 6 months. That's part of the fun of being pregnant, right??

Our Target has maternity stuff but a small selection sadly. I did end up going there yesterday and tried a few things on. I wasn't happy with the fit. I sometimes need plus sizes up top so the sizing can be hard for me. But I ended up buying 2 non-maternity shirts that will act as maternity shirts, both on sale, so I scored still! :) They both have empire waists and room to grow.

I went to the doc yesterday and found I have only gained 1 pound in the last 6 weeks but baby is doing great! I am super happy because I packed on about 60 pounds with my first a few years back but so far I am at about 25 for this one total. WHEW! :D Its also a bit surprising as I have been SO hungry lately and I feel like, especially in the last couple of weeks, I feel like I am eating all the time.

She also told me that I am entering that zone of pretty much anytime from now on would be fine if the baby were to come. Holdout until next week and after that it would be ok. I know its too much to hope for but I have a feeling I am going to start counting days soon.

Tracy,

You won't have any problem finding nice dressy pants in Destination Maternity. I got two nice pairs of pants and a skirt recently. They look professional and cute. Also check out their long-sleeve shirt selection. Those shirts are perfect for work and you can throw on a sweater or a cardigan if it gets chilly.

Tracy,

But please keep in mind that you won't be able to wear your pregnancy clothes for the rest of your term. Always buy clothes that is slightly bigger because you will be growing pretty fast.

I wear size M and 2 months ago I bought pregnancy clothes in M which lasted for about 8 weeks. Now I have to buy L because my belly is so much bigger (and not only belly)
