Ok the morning sickness thing is real bad. I have tried all the remedies but can't stop spewing breakfast and dinner. Prenatal pills made it worse. I am allergic to about 9 medications so I am thinking this pregnancy thing for me will be hard. I will have to see what the doctor says on Tuesday. What about Heart burn pills are they ok to take?

Joniese I am glad that you are finally feeling better. (F)

they say it is best to take the prenatal vitamins right before bed...

i have taken Citracal and Natelle.... they seemed to be ok.... I didn't have any adverse reactions..

i think Tums are Rolaids are ok to take while pregnant... I remember I got a bunch of samples from the doctors of different prenatal vitamin and I am pretty sure there was some Tums in there too....

I never had a problem with morning sickness at all but as far as heartburn I eat tums like they are candy. hey, at least they have calcium.....

I think its kinda sad and scary that it totally made my day when I stopped in to walgreens last week and they had the big botlte of tums buy one get one free! yay!

Hi, I am a father to be. :) I have been on Visa Journey to get my wife over here to the States for a few months now...however I just found this pregnancy section and I find it quite informative. There are lots of personal experiences on here to learn from. I am just trying to see what I can read form your experiences to help my wife get through her first pregnancy with least amount of stress and pain. She started her 6th month this month.

Congratulations Daddy to be. Wow, your wife is pretty far along already. One thing I will not do with the next pregnancy is google every pain that I had during pregnancy. I mean, you can only get the worst case scenario from the internet. One day I googled "baby hiccups in utero" (cause peanut was hiccuping alllll the time) and the first thing I got was "...might possibly be seizures..." You don't want to hear that as a first time mom...

Well, just take it easy, you're almost all the way there. Do you know what you are having?

Congrats one more time.

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow is my ultrasound where hopefully we will be able to know the gender! As long as baby cooperates! :)

heh.... for some reason I thought you'd be someone who would want to wait for the surprise of knowing the gender until birth. :P

Nevertheless, good luck at the ultrasound!

Officially OVERDUE :protest:

(sigh).

I'll look for an overdue ticker now. Something like...... 10 months pregnant is loads and loads of fun yay.

fyi, no induction for prev. c- sect.......they only repeat c -sect u...they don't care if I had a natural birth

after the c- sect. Gotta love hospital policy/ liability politics. If I knew this b4, I would NOT

be delivering at this hospital.

not fair! my c-sec was a decade ago..no scar tissue etc. the risk of them re-cutting the same spot adding scar tissue

is greater than the risk of my abdomen tearing from stretching from a natural birth.

@Anxcious: I don't understand. ARE they doing a repeat C/S with you now? I'm sorry about that.

I will go for a VBAC even if it has to be a home birth OR some doctor can actually prove that my pelvis is too narrow...which should be close to impossible unless they are scanning me while pregnant.
