I get my blood test to test for down syndrome and the other nasties in 3 weeks, at that point ill be 18 weeks, then she said i could have an ultrasound, so i should be able to see the sex!!!!!

I heard the baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks and 1 day... so yoou should be close now! I am 15 weeks now but have not felt the baby move, hope all is ok, god i worry over this little bean

I am also getting these terrible headaches and migraines almost everyday... nightmare!

Here's the scoop on Adam. He's not in pain because of the teething. He had a fever of 102.2 F yesterday and today it was around 101F all day so I decided to go see the doctor. Apparently Adam has an ear infection coming up and his sinuses are swollen and I guess that is what bothers him. He won't go to sleep in the evenings and it takes him forever to fall asleep (probably because daddy is playing with him too) and once he's awake, he wants to snuggle with me so he basically moved into our bed again. Oh well. I'll give him his medicine later and hopefully we can stop that nasty infection before it breaks out all the way.

I found out at US appt. yesterday that we're expecting a boy! Hubby is so proud. My mother already has two grandsons (1 from my only bro, 1 from my only sis) and we were hoping for a girl so she'd finally have a granddaughter but we're adding boy #3 to the pack.

I knew when I found out I was pregnant it was a boy (I told hubby and we put a friendly wager on it). Did any other moms or moms-to-be have that gut feeling and were correct on the gender?

We have been waiting patiently for any labor related developments but nothing as of yet.

I am being induced on Saturday night so she should be here on Sunday...

Anyone know how accurate are the ultrasounds to find out the sex of the baby?

I am trying to see if my sister's hand me downs will be any good in the futre...j/k

they are pretty darn accurate, but i wouldnt bet the bank on them... the only thing i would trust to be 100% sure of would be if you had an amniocentesis and they could tell you from the dna (NOT a reason to have an amnio)

I 'felt' from the beginning that my son was a boy and I 'felt' this one is a girl. Ultrasound also 'feels' this one is a girl. I dont even know what the feeling is, just that everytime I think about this one I think of a girl, and when the ultrasound tech said it was girl I felt like it was a confirmation, not a newsflash.

I had a dream the month I got pregnant (I didn't even KNOW I was pregnant yet) that I was standing somewhere and I said "I'm 20 weeks pregnant, and it's a girl" A couple of weeks later I found out I was pregnant, and she was indeed a girl

As for the accuracy of ultrasounds, We had an ultrasound and amnio at 16 weeks and the tech said girl and she was correct. I wouldn't let myself believe it though until the amnio results came back. I already have two boys who are 11 and 14 and I had LONG given up on the idea that I would have a daughter......I was SO excited!

Both gender ultrasounds of my boys were correct too.

i knew from the begining it was a boy too!! i only bought boys clothes and the doc confirmed that on our first US

my mom knew it too.. my 2 brothers have girls and i had a boy.. the 2nd time.. pretty funny..

on the ultrasound issue, after about 21 weeks or so, if the baby is not too shy it should be

crystal clear of the sex. we have some wee wee shots of our boy and i would be pretty concerned

if those projections are coming out of a girl

I had the same dream I did with this baby and my first son, that I was having a boy but I could not

see the face. I dreamt that in the first trimester and yup, I was right both times, plus I was a sick puppy

with them. When I had my daughter, I didn't dream of the sex, nor was I sick at all.

I can't wait to see him!

Well I must admit I didn't expect to be posting in this thread any time soon but *wave* We're about 3 weeks along apparently, but we'll be confirming that sometime in the near future Darn Scottish super swimmies!

I just found out last week that my fiance is pregnant!!!!!!!!! .....very happy to say the least..now i just hope this process goes by quick so i could be by her side through the pregnancy!!!!
