Hi Ladies,

I am just dropping in, boy do I have Lots of catching up to do. Well anyways, I'm pressed for time so I'll make this quick.

I had a bad asthma attack in my 33 week, and I had to be hospitalized things went from bad to worse really fast...in order to stabalize me and save us both they had to emergency c-section me. Zackery Michael was born on June 23,2007 at 6:08am weighing 1.86kg. We spent his first few weeks seperated :cry: he was in neonatal intensive care, because he's a preemie and had problems holding his body temp. because of low birthweight. I was in adult intensive care. Everylthing that could have gone wrong did :( ...but Thank God it all turned fine.

Anywho all is well now, we are buth home recovering.....I will post pics later as soon as I can pry the camera hubby's hands.

~Tonya (F)

I am so glad you two are ok! I can image those two weeks were heartbreaking being apart. Were you able to go in and see him when ever you wanted to...or was it like visiting hours only. He must be so little! What a sweety :blush: Thank God everything turned out ok and you are ok, MOM! Is this your first? Congrats! And enjoy your recuperation! Can't wait to see pictures!

Congrats on having your baby even though it wasn't the ideal way! Glad you are both ok now! :)

Close friends of mine had their baby last year at between 33-34 weeks, and their baby was in NICU for a couple weeks too. Now she is a very cute and active 11 month old. :)

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Okay, the lil guy is napping...

@Laura- I am truly sorry that you had to go through this again. ***HUGS***

@Chrissy- Congratulations, he's such a cutie

@Anne- Glad to see that Damion is doing fine

@Eveline-Adam is such a little man, I am glad that everything is going fine.

@Shayrene- That is very interesting, especially the part where the baby has to look like the father. (my son looks 95% me, he's got daddy's ears and possible nose)

@Ace- Congratulations on the heartbeat (L)....That is awesome,I think that is when it really "hit me" that I was making a person. I loved hearing his heartbeat.

@JME3584- Thank you, I am blessed that we both survived, that one. It was sad to see those other smaller/earlier/sicker babies in the NICU.... Just glad my son is almost 5lbs. and was healthy enough to come home.

Hi Tonya,

I am so glad that everything worked out for you. Zackery is here now and you can enjoy him. I was right behind you in my pregnancy. I am 34 weeks. Right now, everyone is giving their advice making me feel so far behind. "You don't have a daycare provider yet. Well good luck!" He isn't even born yet. "Who's your pediatrician?" Ummmm! Let me get right on that. "You just started childbirth class, isn't that late?"

Well, everything is fine with me. My feet still swell and I am measuring at 38 weeks pregnant (at my 32 week appt). He will just be a big big boy.

Take care Mommies and Mommies to be!

@MarilynP- Thank you (F)

On the cereal issue, in my family the babies always went to cereal "early" about 3-4 months. I am not sure when I am going to start Zacki on cereal...right now I pump breastmilk and feed him Similac Neosure...I hope that my milk suppl increases....because right now I get enough for two feedings and he eats every 3 hours.

Just to keep the thread bumped...

Adam doesn't want his cereal anymore or actually he doesn't require it anymore. Seems like it really was one long growth spurt. He's totally fine on breastmilk and sleeps through the night with only one feeding in the evening. My boobs are huge every morning (can you say cow) but if that is all he needs then so be it. I will start over with the cereal as soon as he hits 5 or 5 1/2 months. Other than that he's still a happy content baby who just figured out how to roll back and forth and that is what he's doing most of the time. Also, here's a picture of Adam and his girlfriend Hailey. I love that picture. Those two are so much fun together. We hang out almost every day and this picture is so hilarious.
