CONGRATS to the new mommies!!!! :dance:

We had our second ultrasound today - in a week the baby grew a week, so I think we were off on dates. We got to see the baby, and the heartbeat! Still not out of the woods yet, but it was such a good day!

Hi girls,

I just came from my OB appointment, I had an ultrasound and they told me that my baby is small...his weight is measuring at 3lbs 4oz. My OB said not to worry they are going to do a repeat scan, which of course makes me worry :huh:. His other parts are measuring at 30 weeks instead of 31. But I heard his heart and it was strong..and his beats per minute were average. Everything else was good. Again they told me there is no need to worry....but I am worried I can't help it :(

Well enough about us, how is everyone else doing?

Surprise! I'm PREGNANT!! I just found out on Saturday. We are still really really early with me just being 4 weeks along. My due date is 2/22/08. I am so excited! I am also praying like crazy that everything goes ok. I got my first results today from a blood test and my HCG at 13DPO was 149.2. The nurse said that was good...so that made me happy :thumbs: This pregnancy was a total surprise because we were not trying and then boom. I guess it is all in His plan.

Congrats to all the new moms and I am praying right with you with all the expectant moms...this is soooo hard. I want to make sure my baby is ok and do anything I can to help it, but I feel so helpless other than prayer.

I will keep you all posted on my progress...I am excited to be here! :blush:

I remember when I was first pregnant looking at everyone's ticker and they ALL seemed to be WAY AHEAD of mine, so nice to see a ticker that's AFTER mine lol....

Since I am just joining....how has your pregnancy been?

It has been going great...I found out at 16 weeks :blink: so I missed the whole first trimester. Never got sick or gained weight and had quite a few "false negatives" from the home tests. The rest has also been smooth sailing. Everything is going well and normal....except I just found out that the baby is small for his dates ,easuring 3lbs. 4oz. and 30weeks instead of 31..up until now his growth was always on schedule. So they are going to do a repeat scan on me ... I have my fingers crossed hopingZack goes through a growth spurt. . I am due to have a c-section at 38 weeks so 7 weeks until the BIG day.

Congratulations ACE. Hope you have a great pregnancy. I bet you're all excited. I can't believe last year this time I was just as far along as you are now. My due date was 2/23/2007 and Adam was eventually born on March 1, 2007. My pregnancy was great with no problems whatsoever and being a mommy is even better cause you lose the belly, haha.

All new mommies. I can only recommend getting a sling or a pouch instead of a baby carrier. Adam didn't like his carrier so I got him a hotsling (www.hotslings.com) and he loves that thing. I have him in there all the time when we're leaving the house. People seem to like it too cause I get a lot of compliments about it.

@Evline- I truly enjoyed your pictures...Adam is so handsome and he's getting so big. I love the pic of him with the fake teeth, too cute for words. Did I see him standing? @Savanphil: Yes he loves to stand. He started pulling himself up with 2 months. He's not interested in sitting but he loooooves to stand. That's why we bought the jumperoo...he has a great time jumping and beating on the little animals.

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well...

I'm not sleeping through the night anymore but here's the funny thing: the baby's not kicking during the night, not enough to actually wake me up, she kicks when I first lie down but after that she's fine; I don't have swollen legs or cramps, none of that.....

I just go to bed, wake up around 3 or 4 and am good (not tired or anything) till about 7.30. Around then I have to go sleep some more, few hours usually....

Anyone else had this?

It's almost like my body's just prepping for a different sleeping pattern.....

Naturalized! Yeah!
