I slept on my belly up to the 18th week or so then it go uncomfortable and I slept on my back. But like Anne said, breathing got harder and also it started hurting since the baby's weight is all on you so I turned on my side automatically and the left was more comfy than the right. Also I felt Adam move when I was on my left side more than on the other side.

Hi all, I'm just checking in. Hope everybody is well.

I slept on my back for the past 2 nights and I got good sleep, I am still trying to do the left side thing....but its harder than I thought.

Hmm sleeping is something I don't really have a problem with, apart from waking up to pee a couple of times. I guess I always sleep on side/belly kinda position but now just on my side - either one but I know I should try more for the left (will start forcing myself!!)!!

We've bought all the main stuff now - stroller, crib, cribset (jungle theme) and sheets, car seat, motion glider seat thingy, baby carrier, baby gym, a million outfits, pacifiers, bibs, blankets, baby toys and teethers.........I even bought diaper ointment today!!! We have to get a diaper genie, bath, bottles and warmer, lil baby things like thermometer etc, gonna start stocking up on diapers from Costco soon and wipes!! Oh and we need a crib mobile - just the cute nice things needed really!!! We are so excited about his arrival!! Can't believe there is only like 11 weeks (well I know its up to him...) left!!!

Glad to hear everyone else is doing good!!! I have a docs next week and they I have to go every two weeks!! I'm sooo excited!!!!

Congratulations Savanphil! Wow A boy. I am 2 weeks behind you, so I wont find out the sex until the end of the month. My husband wants a boy of course. My entire family wants a girl. (we have way too many boys in the family). I just want a healthy baby. If it is a boy, I will get all the clothes from my friend who just had a boy. If it is a girl, my friend from Seattle will send me her baby girls adorable things. I am good to go.

I went for a scan last week, baby had it's legs crossed so we couldn't see what it was. Hopefully will find out in 3 weeks time

We're not really going with a theme for a nursery... What we decided was a defiinite NO-NO is making a typical, lots of pink and red girlie room. Instead, we're going more neutral...

The walls will be different shades of pastel green, with one wall being two shades of blue and that is the wall were I'll turn the whole wall into an ocean mural with fishies, and jellyfish and other wiggly ocean thingies

All furniture will be white.... everything else is really neutral...

We did the first part of shopping this saturday, we got the travel system so that covers stroller, car seat, and carrier... we got some cute onesis and socks with rattles on them play mat, crib soother, baby monitor, bottles, breast pump... We found the coolest shelves ast Lowe's, for the closet, corner shelfs and then some cute cube shelves for tiny stuff and toys....also, some nice baskets for storage....

For the baby book, I absolutely ADORE Cathy Heck Zoophabet Baby Book, and we got the one with removable pages...and at Walmart I found scrapbooking trinkets for the same brand so I'm making the pages with ultrasound photos all nice and cheeky and in design similar to the rest of the book... The same brand has a keepsake chest as well, for stuff like first shoes, and haircut, and stuff like that....

When it comes to sleeping, I'm now in my 22 week and I just sort of instinctively switched to sleeping on the side.... belly was uncomfortable very early in the pregnancy, and I can still sleep on my back but my legs need to be bent at the knees otherwise I feel to streched out, and even then it's only on the back for a little while as respite from the side...

Haven't posted here yet, but I have some news so I thought I'd join in.

Aicha had her 4 month ultrasound last Friday and she passed with a boy. The baby looks fine to my layman's eye, even saw his heartbeat.

Yay, I don't have to repaint his room!
