How soon is too soon?

I am starting to feel like I want to try for another baby.... but is it too soon??

Doctor told me that I should wait at least 6 months.... 6 months is up in April...

I am on birth control right now and I wanted to go off it at the end of this pack because I know it might take a few months before it clears your system...

Last time it took about a year before I got pregnant ... we weren't trying to get pregnant but we weren't not trying either.......

I think part of the reason it took so long was because hubby was really stressed and tired because he was working 12 to 15 hour nights back then..... I happened to get pregnant shortly after he had his 2 week vacation... Now he is working about 8 to 10 hour days

I am a little scared that the same thing might happen and I am not looking forward to the pain in the end .... but I think I really want to start trying again really soon...

marilyn, i had a miscariage in september 2005 and at the end of november i got pregnant again, and now i have a healthy baby boy...i am ok, he is ok...so, i guess you can try again before 6 months.... <<<<<<<<<hugs >>>>>>>>>

If i were you I would get on that plane! :) Maybe try calling back to speak with the doctor and not the nurse, explain the situation and tell them you really want to go home!! I think that he should be fine as it is a short flight.

Plus, there is a very simple way to protect the baby from potential infections; if anyone asks (unfortunately, not all have the commonsense to avoid this) to hold him, say very firmly "NO".

hi all!

i'm super happy that i can join the club! i'm 10 weeks pregnant, and have my first ultrasound on monday. i haven't really told many people yet, but i will after the ultrasound comes back (hopefully) just fine and dandy. i found this cute baby ticker, and had to put it up somewhere! so i'm putting it here on visajourney....

I'm officially 40 weeks and one day pregnant today and counting. My inlaws took off this morning again. They couldn't stay any longer (they were here waaayyyy toooo early, considering that my due date was only yesterday). Oh well...

My babyboy is squirming around and not making any attempt to come out. We'll see what happens next Tuesday at the doctor's office.

Eveline--I'm looking forward to hearing when your baby is born. I measure 40+ weeks right now, so I know that uncomfortable feeling and can imagine you are anxious to have your baby arrive. I will be happy to make it to 36 or 37 weeks. I can't imagine getting much bigger!

Thank you Kristi. I know it has to be over one day soon but I don't think it will ever happen without me getting induced. Baby still didn't drop but he is hurting me pretty bad (he measures at 38 weeks) and I wish labor would start...my family is calling in every day, everybody is excited and I - therefore - am under NO PRESSURE WHATSOEVER...No, that was my hormones speaking. My mom is really sweet and my dad - who usually never calls unless my mom gives him the phone - called yesterday all concerned if anything had happened to me cause I hadn't called in four days. They are just as excited as I am I guess.

Eveline: Unlike my little man who couldn't wait a second longer, yours likes his current environment a little too much! lol I hope you don't have to be induced but I pray that whatever happens it is for the best for both you and the baby.

Thank you for the heads up ladies. It is frustrating but what can I do. Maybe I'll get induced on March 7th (that would be my dad's birthday)...would be kinda cool. I still hope he comes by himself.
