He just found that there is a cheap way he can travel to France by land/water basically and then we were thinking to buy a ticket direct from france to here! BUT!! is that going to be possible ?? IF he has a US VISA only, will he be allowed to travel to FRANCE this way or would he need some other kind of permission to do that? I was thinking maybe if he had the proof of his plane tickets out of france maybe? Has anyone else gone this route?

He would have to have a visa to go to france but if it was just a flight transfer there should be no issue.. by land/ watter visa for france is required... he must see the french consulate in morocco.

Congratulation on your husband's approval. I would wait until he has enough money to fly to france and then make the transfer.

I agree^^ Best to take direct flights. Although if you are determined to go through France (transferring i don't know, but if he were to go through there then he would need a visa to go to France) Anyways, there are cheap flights (jet4u) that go from Morocco to France and then he can transfer. Although direct flights with air france from France to California at least are pretty expensive- i don't know where your husband's final destination is.
