I was a dancer and used to perform with a dance group a lot. Other than that I was known for having parties when my parents went away (which was a week out of each month in my sr year), wasn't a fulltime stoner but definitely smoked hash in the bathroom a few times/week, teacher's pet, hated gym because they made us take public showers after, hung out a lot at the computer room and was po'd after I didn't get early acceptance into Carnegie-Mellon.

I guess I was the nerdy headbanging country freak redneck. Yep.....that was me. I hated jocks, pretty boys, and intellects. Didn't really have many friends. When everybody was partying, I was fishing. aA big loser with a capital L.

Still a redneck.

I was too pretty to fit in with the computer nerds and gamers, and too academic to fit in with the "cool" people. I was the AP kid in orchestra that fiddled with computers and code, loved going to school, and wanted to be more social but couldn't figure out how.

Hell, in many ways that's still me. :P I have too many interests to fit neatly into any box, but fortunately I've figured out who I am so I no longer am trying to fit into a stereotype to make friends.

Did anyone else dress up as Madonna in HS or college? I have to confess I wore black miniskirts and army boots.

Whatever you think about me right now is what you would have thought about me in high school too. I am the same in certain ways, except hopefully more mature and maybe a little less wimpy. I went to small schools, was usually part of the goofing around/"goody two shoes" group. Half of us got good grades, the other half didn't, and we all got along good. We didn't party and stuff, which is the goody two shoes part. But we had lots of fun. I liked it. But it didn't define me. I think I had a pretty safe and happy life in high school.

I went to boarding school for high school. Hung out mostly with girls who lived in my dorm. Got good grades, was active in the glee club/concert choir (though I never really fit in with those people), swim team, loosened up a little my senior year (sneaking around smoking and whatnot). Never liked the "cliques".

Did look at classmates.com a few years back, those days are history and can stay as history. College was mostly spoiled brats and kids knowing how to cheat to get good grades. Old co-workers never became lifelong friends, bottom line is work was only what you really had in common. But still stay in contact with my military buddies, we shared a life and death situation and became friends for life, and we are still here to help each other.
