I was the "crazy girl."

I didn't spend much time in my classes (AP mind you) because I was probably in the psych ward.

I looked anorexic, and was, and also cut myself -- sometimes between classes, got shuttled to the hospital.

Never mind the ODs I took in school. Passing out. Barfing. Bleeding.

yes, i remember you well..

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I always wonder about people who think back to their high school days. For me, it just wasn't all that important. I had a crowd and stuff, but telling others my "superlatives" just seems a bit silly :P

so what is wrong with silly ?? :P

Nothing at all - just I guess it was just a blip on the map for me. I don't think anyone would care if I was prom queen or whatever when talking to me now.

You obviously weren't the prom queen because a prom queen would never say something like that. ;)

I was honor roll, jock, and social butterfly.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Sorry about the OP. I was in the National Honors Society back in high school. Applied to MIT. Got rejected. Same with 400 other valedictorians. How did I found out that 400 valedictorians got rejected? At Staples a long time ago, I met a couch who couched MIT (Division 3) students. He said, "don't worry, there were over 400 valedictorians who got rejected."

Ha!

Now, I work alongside an MIT student at the job. They are no more skilled than I am. Nothing special.

I was the type who wanted to get a chance to get ahead of my older sister. Because I quicken the pace of my advancement by double dipping the advance and ap courses, I took all the honors courses offered through the school with the exception of french and spainish class....took French for two years (continuing from grade 6-8). They had AP French but I gave up with French. Didn't want to bother. Too much obsession with MIT this, MIT that...

I WAS A CRAZY M-I-T DREAMER! And, disappointed that I got rejected. But, hey...these kids are no less smarter than I am. In fact, we received the same FE scores, and the same PE scores.

As I am today....I was hip, marched to my own drum and live(ed) a loner lifestyle.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

high school in Thailand - I was teachers favorite, dont know how, I'd skip class to go to the library - either sleep or read books in there. My group was quite popular in our uniqueness and got along with every other type of groups. we were quite a leader in school uniform fashion and a lot of kids followed what we did. I played a lot of sports but not very good at any but people seems to think i was. I was in the all girl school (with fre guys allow in the last 3 years and my class has 4 guys and I had a crush with one) and younger girls like me

high school in the US (exchange student) I was a wall flower here i guess.. i was quiet, shy but always smile kind of girl.. beside there're other cool exchange students so i wasnt much interesting. still teachers favorite here too though. Got into skiing and chorus.

University was a different story thought

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

 ok ok - I was a runner up :P /harbors secret resentment at the prom queen. Oh wait. No. Oh hell no. High school was fun, but wasn't anything that defined who I am (disagree with you Steven on that).
