forgot to include letter

several months ago we filed for a 751 in vermont about 3 months we got a letter saying our case was moved to calf.

3 weeks ago we got a letter giving us to july 2nd to send them evidence they recived no evidence from us they claim.

so we gathered everthing together once agian and mailed it out the other day however we forgot to inclue a copy of the letter they send us asking for the evidence.do you think they will be able or make an effort to find out whos file this is for ?

there is a return adress on the package inside are our taxes-lease-auto insurance policy-eletric bills-bank statements etc etc-im hoping they will make an effort and just not discard it anyone have any thoughts

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 20 - N-400 receipt date for my father

Apr 21 - Biometrics appt.

May 2 - Interview

You should follow up on this as soon as possible - the instructions on the RFE notice clearly say to include the original RFE notice (not a copy) with any evidence you submit.

Will they match up what you sent with your case? Hard to say - it is not likely - did you write your A# and/or Receipt number on every page of the evidence you sent?

I think the safest way is to send out all documents requested in the RFE along with orignal RFE letter. Sending duplicate documentation would not hurt. However, if they are unable to match your original response to RFE with your case, that would cause a lot of problems

I would suggest resending the documents you sendt already now with the original RFE notice, so that they can match the documents to your case and I-751. Please do make copies of the documents you gonna send them ( you can use these copies for N400 next year or in case you have resend them again to be safe). Also make copies of the RFE notice for your record.
