i agree, but i think soccer should be called football, since their feet is on the ball most of the time. and football would be called soccer.

Football and Soccer seems more simple than football and american football, less characters and syllables.

i agree, but i think soccer should be called football, since their feet is on the ball most of the time. and football would be called soccer.

Considering there was a sport called football and we took rugby rules and changed them somewhat yes I agree we should of came up with a different name but that was 80plus years ago.

Interesting info -

Soccer is a colloquial abbreviation of association football. It is also the common name for the sport in North America, South Africa, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.
