So my package was received today. Now what? Can I see online somewhere the status?

Do you mean that USCIS has received your I130 petition? If so and you have your NOA1 .....then next you just do the waiting game until either you get an RFE or an approval.

Register....when you have your case number, you add it to your box and also check the box that asks if you want to receive mail.....after that you will get notification (sometimes) when there is an update to your case status.

if you got the noa1 meaning the receipt no from USCIS> its a bunch of 3 set of letter plus 10 digit no. example mines is CSC so they assigned my daughter WAC0916******. What I did was i went to www.uscis.gov >> far right Check Case Status > key in the case no no special characters and hit go> they will give an update showing either case pending or notice approval>> if its says notice approval that means NOA2 >> to check if case is touched register and then To register as an applicant customer click here. >>https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/registercustomer.jsp fill this up > touched means from the time they last update it and there is a new date they have started reviewing the case heres the sample print screen >> and sample of noa1 to see the touches.. if the date of the last update changed> and this is noa2 hope this helps a bit (F)

NOA1 will come in the mail. It will give you your case number. If you don't have it 30 days after your Petition was received then you can call and they will give you the case number over the phone and mail another NOA1 to you.

the noa1 and noa2 will always be coming from uscis by regular mail.
