confused: how many photos do i need for the beneficiary for the ds230? I wonder how many are really needed.. some says 2..some says 4, some says 6? any help is highly appreciated thank u

Yeah go with what the guide says. Usually the guide's recommendations for information proving a relationship exists is pretty conservative. Err on the side of too many instead of too few!

We sent our DS-230 with 4 photos. 2 days ago we got an RFE for photos missing!!! #######??? So my personal advice is send 4 - 2 in one plastic bag, 2 in another plastic bag, just so you make sure they will not loose them. Officially, NVC is asking for 2:

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

Please provide two identical front-view color photographs with a white background as required for each

visa applicant.

The photos must have the name of the person in the photo printed on the back, along with the case

number associated with the person's photo.

thank you very much.. I wonder how long is the validity of the petition before case completion as i cannot finish the last step for SOphia as her passport is still pending request from department of foreign affairs? It might take 25 business days to get release and thats the last thing we have to submit to complete the ds230 (F)

You have plenty of time. I think NVC gives you one year to reply after they assign you a case number. So, take your time and get your stuff done rather then getting an RFE
