NOA1 not received yet

Check was cashed on June 15th and obtained the WAC number from the back of the check image. Checked the case online - it says notice (I assume NOA1) was mailed on June 15th. Haven't received the hard copy of NOA1 yet (as of June 26th). Is this normal or should I inquire and ask them to send another one? I was hoping to file I129F (K3) as soon as I received the NOA1. Any suggestions?

This is very common (lately) - some folks getting NOA1 a week later while others getting them a month (or more) later (doesn't mean you're not being processed in the order your case was received though).

I think you're still fine. our check was cashed then received the NOA1 after 2 days i think. Pretty fast for us but i believe others can have their NOA1 after a month. If you did not receive your NOA1 in 3 months, maybe that will be the time to follow-up. Also, seems like you are planning to file for the k3 right? We planned the same thing but we decided to continue with the CR-1 path, but that will depend on your decision. If money doesn't matter with then go for the K3, but to analyze the benefits, better to have the CR-1 (just an opinion and suggestion).

i havent even had my cheque cashed yet... but i look forward to when i am at your stage...

how did you get the number on the back of your cheque? did you call up USCIS?

This kind of defeat the Legal Immigration Family Equity (LIFE) Act, when you are filing a K3 right after you have file I 130…If you have to wait 1 to 3 month for the NOA1 in order to file the 129F.
