hi thanks for you reply, now am confused , the ar form says if you have a pending case , i clicked yes and i filled the application and under the case number i put the -485 adjustment of status number which starts with mscxxxxxxxxxx.

did i make the right thing ? or i submitted it wrong, if it is wrong what do i have to do ? another question about the petitioner , does it have to say that she has a pending case or no? we are going under adjustment of status right now. thank you for any help.

If you have an AOS case pending (which you do) - the answer is Yes.

hi

i read at the uscis website under the change of address guide this lines which i didnt understand well it saysthe folllowing:

2. Non-U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, you need to follow two different steps:

Step 1: File a Form AR-11 (This changes your address in our master database.);

Step 2: If you have a pending case, you must also file a Change of Address online or call our National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283. (This changes your address for the specific application you have submitted.)

Please note that if you are a non-U.S. citizen and you have a pending case, you must complete both steps to make sure that you comply with the regulations and so we can reach you at your correct address.

ok i did file online the Ar11 form , so what the first step means ? do i have to send the form Ar 11 by poste mail also? together with the 865 form for my petitioner?.

can someone shed some light ? thank you.

My husband and I moved to our new home and we filed the change of address which are AR11 for me and 865 for hubby(online) while my AOS was still pending. After 3 days I got a letter from USCIS that they have received my request of change of address. They sent it on my new address.
