Hi All

I am all set to go back home for a 3 week visit and suddenly thought as I will be travelling on the VWP back to England will I need to do the ESTA?

I havent been back home for a visit since this was introduced and therefore don't know too much about it.

Thanks

I am a UKC - I have a 10 yr green card.

I am sorry if I confused you but I don't know too much about the ESTA.

Will I have to apply for ESTA to come back in to the USA or will I just need my green card to re-enter. What I have read says that travellers using VWP to travel to the US need to complete ESTA but I cannot find any information about LPR using VWP.

Last time I travelled to the UK I travelled under VWP and used my greencard to re-enter US.

I guess I am still ok to do this?

ESTA is for travelling to the US under the VWP only, so it won't apply to you at all. You'll just need your passport and GC to enter the US on your return and just your passport for entering the UK.

Have a good trip.

Thank you so much - I guess I was just a little panicked - now I understand that I won't be travelling on VWP - I get confused very easily lol

Thanks for helping me - my panic is over!

Now I can relax and look forward to my visit - I have 2 new grandchildren due to be born while I am over there so I am really excited!!!!! :)
