maybe this is not the right place for me to discuss this but as a muslim...hazrat ali is a companion of the prophet saw and the prophet saw told us to only seek help from Allah swt.

I hope you do not take offense, but you were right about it not being the right place to discuss this here. Its her personal choice to have Ya Ali Madad in her signature- not your business to make it an issue.

After completing the DS230 Beneficiary can send to NVC or they can forward to you and you can send to NVC for them.

Thanks :) Yes, it was me. I called DOS on Friday and they said that its in final processing. Monday I called Islamabad and they said they mailed the visa...it was stamped for last Thursday and it arrived in Lahore today, Tuesday. Basically the whole thing wrapped up in the matter of 3 days. From start to finish the whole CR1 process took 9 months for us. I am really happy I decided not to go with K3 as per my original plan.

yayyyy alhamdulilah that is great news congradulationss!!! :)

thank you so much :) I hope the POE goes smoothly for you guys!

inshALLAH- we both got the requests for more info at the same time if I remember correctly. You had to email your brothers' names and we had to submit his past phone numbers. Hopefully, they are almost done with your case as well.

no offense taken

didn't make it an issue..was just shocked to see how openly shirk (unforgivable sin) is being committed-thats all

so how long does it take for NVC to process all the documents and schedule an interview after ds-230 and other supporting docs have been sent?

Salaam. Congrats on al that. I wish I had not gone with the K3. It has been more than 3 months for ours now. We filed the original I-130 in March of last yr. So, we have been waiting a long time. So, i am so glad to hear yours was wrapped up so quickly. Congrats. Yeah, I been trying to call DOS too but because of the stupid message that they have on there you cant get ahold of an operator. I tried calling NVC like it says to do about the Haiti Visa Inquiry, but its always busy and I cant get thru. My husband is always busy at his office during the day when the Embassy's Operators are available so we have no idea when we will be able to talk to anyone. Luckily, though, the Senator's office said they are going to contact the embassy again and remind them of my due date and the importance of my husband coming home. I hope it works. Wish us luck and take care and congrats. Allah hafiz.

maybe this is not the right place for me to discuss this but as a muslim...hazrat ali is a companion of the prophet saw and the prophet saw told us to only seek help from Allah swt.

If this "were" the right place to discuss this, which it isn't I should let you know....I would have cleared up that mistake you are making believing that the Prophet (S.A.W) EVER said such a thing. I would ask you where it is you EVER read it with your own two eyes...rather than just having heard it somewhere and believing your ears and not your other, more accurate senses. But since, like I've stated clearly above...this is not the place to discuss this matter. I will only reprimand you that you should avoid starting topics of discussions on other peoples religious beliefs on this forum since it is not the proper place to do it, and doing so will not gain you anything in return but merely make you out as prejudiced, ignorant and a childish person. Please refrain from it in future.

BTW -

If saying "Ya Ali Madad" were bidad or "bad" then the Prophet (S.A.W) himself would never had asked Mola for help in times of need as often as he had. If you believe that everything our Prophet (P.B.U.H) has done in his life is considered sunat-e-rasool. Look up Jang-e-Khaiber in a book I'm quite sure you've atleast heard of called the "Bukhari". It is sunat-e-rasool to call upon Mola Ali in times of need...if after reading about the gates of Khaiber in the "Bukhari" you still do not understand, you may contact me privately "if" and only of you are willing to discuss this further in a mature way. Otherwise, I do not wish to discuss this matter further only to satisfy anything other than someones need to simply argue these facts! I simply do not have the time.

This discussion ends here and I simply refuse to acknowledge any further posts or comments made on this subject.
