Congratulations qhayder

Sorry , I myself don't have the answer. Thou ... I do have a question & a suggestion.

First , what is the final process ? And did you have to supple siblings names & b-day's.

I'm wondering if this is random , or if everyone has to do it.

As for my suggestions , TO ALL of us, when calling and they tell us for example (visa in final

process) ask what is final process , and approximately how long it will take, It's our right to ask.

Anyhow ... Again congrats , and my prayers are with ALL of us. (F)

Thanks :) They did not offer any further information on what final processing entails or on the average amount of time it takes. I did not have to email them regarding sibling information but they requested all the phone numbers he has used for the past 5 years. That was requested a month after our interivew. Good luck with your process :)

Ghayder congratulations. it means u soon going to receive ur visa it is very good news brother.Does they already have ur passport ? if yes then ur visa will come within 2 weeks and if not then ur will visa take about 3 weeks to be in ur hands.

I really hope it will only take 2 weeks *crossing my fingers*!!! They kept the passport at the time of the interview- we also wanted to avoid the hassle of sending it at this time. I read something about how they are sending the printed visas to the US and then it is sent back to Pakistan- I hope that doesn't happen as I am sure it will just take up more time.

Salam

I just now called to see how my husbands AP is coming along. And was told Embassy called him today

for his siblings names and b-days. Which of course I called my husband right away, to find out if they had called him. Not to my surprise they hadn't. So ... For everyone that is on AP, don't depend on them contacting you. Call to check up on your case.

DOS told u that embassy called urs husband !

Maryam did embassy realy called ur husband for his brothers names ?

Last month my wife called DOS and DOS told her that embassy beein trying to call ur husband for his brothers names, and i realy did not received any call from them . so we sent embassy an email and in the email they mentioned that they want name of my brothers , they did not mention my parents names because on DS-230 i already gave them names of my parents like everyone.

Feisal bhai. Thank you so much for your well wishes. I really appreciate it. I am sorry that I am a little emotional. It has been such a long time for me to be without my husband, and the idea of having the baby without him being able to see her first moments of life makes me sad. But, Allah know's what's best for us. So, that's all I can consider. And, if he hasn't gotten the call for his visa by the time I am recovered from my surgery and the baby is healthy and strong enough, i will go back to Pakistan to be with him. I can't be without him. I know that I have everything for the baby here, everything is ready... but I need my husband and my daughter needs her father. So.. I just wanted to thank you so much for the kind words.

Hopeful... Congrats on our man receiving his visa! I have been waiting daily to find out whats happening with it. You both are a great inspiration for me, you and Feisal bhai. I worry all the time that there will be a problem with my case because of me getting my divorce just a short time before I married Zaheer. But the Dept Of State told me that shouldn't matter, and also, the US Embassy in Islamabad obviously didn't have a problem with it because when I applied for a new passport with Zaheer's last name on it instead of my previous name they gave it to me, no questions asked. So.. whenever I see that its taking sooooo long for this AP, I just think about your cases and realize that all was well and good with yours as well, but it just took time. So.. I let you both be my hope. thanks for being there for me when I was worried as well, both of you. Good luck to you both and have a safe Kashmir Day. Allah Hafiz.

~Tara

P.S> that's supposed to say YOUR man. LoL. Take care.

Awwww thank you!... insha'Allah I pray that your husband receives his visa before the birth of your daughter. Worrying is always number one for this process, simply because they don't tell us what is going on. However, don't worry too much about it, just think about the day of the interview how many people were there. That many people that were there on THAT day, is the same number of people that will be there for an interview the next day, and is a day's work or a month's work of cases they have to process. I don't know if they process it in any type of order, but I feel they process it according to their mood. If they are in the mood to really do some intense work they will work on the cases that require careful consideration and review, otherwise they will work on the easy cases (student visa, visitor visa, business visa, etc..). What helped me through the process was putting myself in their shoes and just imagining what work that could be done. I think our own work experience can explain that as much as we want to finish everything in one day, there are meetings or breaks that disrupt that motivation and we have no choice but to leave it off for the next day. Insha'Allah you will hear good news, just don't think negative and IF you do think negative, there is always a positive response to that and that is just saying tawakal ba khuda (All matters are up to Allah).

Also, at times when I really felt HOPELESS, I said to myself it's ok if God forbid it doesn't work out, I will just go out there and live with him. Never depend on one expectation. Insha'Allah it won't be the case where you have to go live with him, insha'Allah I know you both will hear good news and reunite.

Where there is a will, there is always a way =]

You are all in my duas, insha'Allah this AP will be over for you all soooooooooooooon

Sallam all,

my work is Gynae ward related in a hospital , every day i visit Gynae ward and i see too many patients, I am not a doctor ,

Today i was gone Gynae ward and when i was coming back to my office i was thinking about when this AP will complete. and in the way i saw a man he was half burnt and i could see his his skin inside and parts of his body , Omg that time i was not scared to see that but then i realised that there are people in the world who have worse situation more than AP victims and i thanked Allah for giving me good body parts and i am happy now that i am a healthy person ,

That person was half burnt and his all face was burnt got rid of his skin and his chest belly and from back side he was all fine as i could see his spine , i asked his relative whats happend to this man , they said Carosene oil choola was blast,

I pray for good health of that guy and walked away .

and now i pray That may Allah give everyone good health and give visas to everyone who is waiting in AP.

It's definitely moments just like the one wellmux experienced that really put things right back into perspective you know. When we look not at the people that are ahead of us but the ones that unfortunately are behind us or in much worse situations then ourselves....then I believe we become far more patient and far less worried about the trivial things in our lives, that have come and will initially pass on their own time inshallah. Remember to always keep those less fortunate then yourselves in mind, especially when you sense that your going through tough times in your life. It'll put any ordeal into perspective and give you the patience and piece of mind needed to get through it safely and soundly! For this is Sunat-e-Rasool(A.S)!

Inshallah everyone will get their visas soon. I am constantly praying for you all!!!!!!!!!!

I can totally understand how hard it is being away from their love one. This coming July will be two years that I left Pakistan, alot of special occasions and holidays we have spent apart. I'll tell ya , I came back to the states to visit my parents and to make a long story short. My mom passed away Dec 23 of "08". Tried to get our case expedited , so that my husband could meet her , but my attorney said that it could not be done. She so much wanted to meet him , as he wanted to meet her. With all this stress I now get migraines which I never had before.

Anyhow ... Enough of this. But ... I have faith and know we will be together. And yes it's very correct their are alot of people out their that is not as fortune as us. I'm very grateful to ALLAH for giving me my wonderful husband and my new family.

We all must stay strong and have faith in ALLAH that he knows best !

Maryam dont worry, It is only a test from Allah. It is Allah's way to tell us the importance of the person we love. Allah prepares us to spend good and bad times with the same person. I can say for sure, this visa thing only increased my love for my husband. The selfless love wouldnt have been possible otherwise or say I wouldnt have realized his value in my life. This AP suffering only makes the foundation of your relationship stronger. Both husband and wife realizes how much we have suffered and waited to see each other. Inshallah it will be over soon.

You know what... my husband's interview is on 17th this month. And my uncle doesnt care about AP. He thinks of it as going something wrong in the case. And what did he said last week, if the case goes into AP or there are any other problems with the case, I wont keep you in my house.

Haaa... what do I do now? I have faith in Allah and Im not a bit worried about it. Allah brought this situation to me and Allah will take me through. I only take it as a test now and try not to get frustrated.

Keep on praying for urself and others. I always pray for you :)
