So I called ISL and OH MY! are they not considerate of people callin from the US through a phone card?... I mean at exactly 2:31 I called and it was busy until 2:49 and I didn't try after that... does anyone know what time is good for me to call?

is there anything I am missing and also i see people saying over here that NVC schedules their interview i guess that is not the case for Pakistan. For us the US Embassy in Pakistan schedules it correct. And will they also send my wife a letter for Medical or does she have to go herself?

Hi everyone, I was just wondering how long were you guys on AP before you started calling DOS to check up on the status. Its only been one week for me so I haven't bothered yet. Settling myself in for a long wait so not looking forward to making the first disappointing phone call. Hopefully, there won't be many!

well, my husbands ap lasted only 29 days(shuker alhumdolillah) so I had the patience to keep myself from calling. I was planning on calling once we'd reached a month and a half of waiting....but thank Allah we didn't have to wait that long. The interviewer at the embassy told us that if we weren't contacted to pick up the passport by a month and a half that we should call and inquire. So I decided to just wait it out...and ended up never having to deal w/ dos.....which I've heard is usually hell!!!!!!!!!!
