Anyone had interviews in September? It would be nice to keep track of the september interviews to know what months are being processed. I'm pretty sure August interviewees are being processed

wow..i thought i was the only depressed one..this was our first eid after the marriage :*(( i wish he was here...ill pray for everyone on here. hopefully we'll be with our loved one by next eid or sooner..inshallah. .....WAITING IN NOT EASY

OK.. so this is whats new with us. We called the embassy on wednesday last week and asked about case status. The guy asked "Did you send us any documents?" and I said "No, are they requesting any?" and he said "No not really. Your case is still in AP.. but Insha'Allah, all will be clear after Eid hopefully." So I said thanks you and Eid mubarak and I was so happy. And he was happy I said Eid Mubarak so he laughed and said it too. So we called them back today. They said "Ah ok, we received your documents on 1st December." And I said "What documents?" and he said "Your forms, we just got them." and I said "But they never asked for any, do they need anything from us?" and he said "No, we got them from the Dept of State." so I said "What forms are they?" and he said "Your husband's visa application forms." and I said "Oh, ok.. well what is the time limit I am looking at? Is everything fine?" and he said "Yes everything is fine, be sure we will call you when we are finished but at this time it is still needing some more process. But i do not know about the timeframe, I cannot tell you that." SO I said thank you and hung up. Then tonight we called DOS and they put me on hold forever and the lady was all having computer problems and stuff and kept like huffing into the phone and whispering "Oh god.. what did I do?" and stuff. Then finally she came back to me and asked my husbands name like 4 times then she repeated the wrong case number, I confirmed the right one, then she asked his name again, put me on hold, then came back and said "Yeah, its still pending." and I said "I know, but they said you guys sent them some forms, I just wanted to know about it." and she said "I dont know anything about any forms. All I know is its still pending." then I was like.. ok thanks then bye.

So.. what do you guys think of all this? Any ideas? Its been 4 weeks now since AP started for us. Anyone have similar exp or anything? Keep me posted. Take care.

hey guys ..just wanted to update my case status...i had my interview in sept 25,2009..and i got my visa on 6 november..like 40 days after..i was also put in AP process..i am all new here..but i hd been reading the posts very after my interview..it really helped me out.

My fiance's interview was on September 15, 2009... and it has been past the 2 months mark... however if we are counting by the documents, it is going to be 2 months next week insha'Allah.

Insha'Allah day by day we are just getting closer to the end, think of it that way. It's hard I know believe me, but insha'Allah we will hear something and I'm still grateful that at least they tell us this much info that we are on AP. Imagine if they didn't tell us, how worried we would be.

thanx feisal..my bro had his interview as well.his interview date was 22 july,2009..and he got his passport back on 14sept,2009...when i was put on AP..my vision was totaly blanked..bcz i didnt know abt this process..but after going through these forums, atleast i got some idea about what i hd been going through..but seriously i was really worried...cuz everyone was having problems with their cases..but however i was not disappointed..but thanks to this forum it really doing a gud job...so i pray for all of you..hope everyone will be hearing a gud news....feisal update my case status..so it would be helpful to see wats us counsular is doing about AP.

guys, is this the correct number to call DOS to check status of AP: 202-663-1225 n then menu prompts 1,4,2,3,0? I tried yesterday, but it said the office is closed. What are the hours? Also, which number at the embassy should I call?

DOS number is correct extension is 1 and then 0

US Embassy Islamabad 051-2082700 press 2 again 2 and 1 - keep pressing 1 untill you get through lines are very busy call between 3:15 to 3:30.

Feisal everytime I come to visajourney at this particular topic (in which I have saved as a subscriber), I come with the hopes of you saying you got your visa call and especially when I see last post by FEISAL ... i get more excited and then when I come to it, I see nothing of that sort!... I'm hoping I get to read a response like that from you SOON insha'Allah! You are all in my duas, I'm just soo happy that Marm got done wtih her situation alhamdulilah, her situation was really congested and seemed so pressed with the time restriction. Insha'Allah may this month be a wonderful month! I've noticed in the middle of every month or about the thirdweek, that is when visas start to roll out in printing lol Let's see if im right with that observing pattern.

and Abenitez, DOS is slacking off these days... the office is NOT supposed to be closed, they should open at 8:30 am, but I guess they can let it roll when they want to. I finally got through with them after 9:15 am... not nice, but I would bring it to their attention next time I call. Gosh once these finals are over, I'm going to really bombard them with my calls lol

Hey.. what did I do? How come no one ever replies to any questions I ask? Everyone replies to just about any other question or response... but when I ask something, no one says a thing to me. What gives? Have I offended people or something... I pray for all you guys all the time to get your visas.. and no one even acknowledges me. Thanks for making me feel welcome in this forum guys...
