Yes Marm i will most definitely do that along with several other things like that,my NY's DL has expired that needs to be taken care of as well.I was wondering if i can be compensated for social security tax that IRS deducted from my every paycheck or not or if i can collect 401k benefits since i am no longer in the US and wont have a workable SSN till my ead arrives.I think i should not worry about all that, first i need to come out of this AP/AR.I remember CO asked me for several documents which he wanted to see and werent required at thet time of packet 3.5.He put everything togather along with rest of the documents he returned my originals and pictures and said everything is in order and you good to go.Review is done when they have all the documents and then AP starts. If i didnt have those documents with me which he wanted to see during the interview i probably would have received 221(g) but instead i got that green letter and a pink sticker with a serial number on it.......i know i think too much and thats the problem cuz i m a doer not a thinker and like hope786 says its the momentum and it needs to stop :) ....Good Luck everyone.

Taj : Dont worry it will be over soon. What does the embassy says at manila?

Non-invasive is everything but the internal procedures, so I don't do any major/minor biopsies, etc or even go near a needle! And all the medical procedures I do are for diagnostic purposes only (I feel less stressed this way). And it is funny that you mention that, I am a psychologist (recently finished my Masters last year in Psychology) but the problem is that I began to practice clinical psychology just around the time that we had filed the I-129F and I was dealing with high-risk patients so I couldn't take the stress anymore and decided to continue my education until things get settled down. I am liking my new profession very much, especially because of the decreased amount of stress and good compensation, although I haven't received my actual degree yet (I am doing the practicum parts now), I am in training so I do get paid :). Good luck to your fiance! Psychiatry is great, but for me it is way too stressful!

Hopeful786: InshaAllah!

A magician pulls rabbits out of hats, A psychologist pulls habits out of rats.Is that what you do? :) If i continue waiting for another 90 days in AP i may require psychotherapy or cognitive behavioral therapy for psychological distress...

By the way i called DOS again and spoke to sarah she said it felt like monday .........my case is still pending at non-immigrant visa unit.

 No right now I can't even think about anything else other than this stupid AP process, so first I think I will need psychotherapy before I can trust myself to help anyone else out! :bonk:

I called DOS today as well, actually the whole day today the lines were so busy, unusually busier than normal (maybe because Monday was off...). When I finally got through to someone, she said that it is still pending in NIV.

Good luck on your exams! And you know its Sarah because she announces her name when she picks up the phone, just as everyone is supposed to at DOS but not everyone does. But I do know the following people announce their names: Sarah, Jessica, Sue, Anna, Janet, Claudia, Heinz, Anne...I am sure there are others but these are the ones I remember well. And by the way, if the person doesn't give out his/her name and you want to know who you are talking to, you can always ask them, because they are required to say their names.

how is it going everyone?

Here is a little piece of advice.. Apply for your SSN once you get here.. We didn't receive anything for two weeks so stopped by the SSN office and were asked to wait for one more week before applying for one since the request through DS-230 may process through.. one week later, no progress so we applied for one and received the card in mail after three business days along with green card as well- same day, same time!!!

No more USCIS until husband applies for the citizenship. yayyy!!

Good Luck everyone.. AP sucks but it will be over soon.. may you be united with your loved ones soon. Ameen

ps: I still can't believe he is here :$

Mumtaz.. you are ALL set.. good luck with the interview!

We had all the pictures and what not but the CO didn;t even bother to look at anything.. it's good to have but honestly they wont need it to establish the sincerity of relationship.. you have been living with him in Pakistan so that's an added bonus as well. GOOD LUCK (yep in caps, the big one :-) (F)

I really hope and pray you come out of the interview with no AP at all!!
