How is everyone doing? I guess still celebrating the Eid holidays

I have good news, (I think). A very nice DOS rep told me today that my fiance has been approved but his visa is pending issuance. They actually transferred his K-1 from the IV unit to the NIV unit (so it can be processed faster there, as the DOS rep told me) and that is why they requested another DS-157. But she was not able to tell me whether they put his new DS-157 into the system yet. InshaAllah they have put it in the system, and it will be a few days or a week or so until it is issued. But I am waiting until he receives it in his hand before I can be happy and celebrate. How is everyone else?

ETA: Oh and yes, I confirmed this information by calling DOS 3x today...can't risk being misinformed by a DOS rep, especially since it has happened to us before.

GREAT NEWS MARM. Really happy for you. :)

Same.. we are just 6 days after you guys! So excited! It seems like forever we're waiting, but just gotta remember that every day is a day closer, and we're not getting any further away... I was gonna call on Thursday (that's when I usually call), but I don't know.. we didn't turn out passport in at the interview, so I'm not even sure what they would tell us if it WAS done?? .. but yes! We are almost there! InshAllah they like Omar's better after Eid :-P

hi, i was a silent member for this post for the last month after my interview for CR1 on 28/08/09. i m really impressed by this forum n i really got help from this forum. i appreciate all active members. Also i want 2 share that i have received call from embassy to submit my passport n it is due to almighty God. I recited SURA MUZZAMIL for continuous 3 days, 41 times each day, while reciting no breaks n after 3 days God blessed me. I saw this also on this forum by some member. Thanx forum for sharing n i m sharing my experience 2 in reply....... Good Luck 2 everyone who r still in AP.
