Waitingforapproval, feisal, mzj, ATK, and everybody else... Thank you soooooooooo much for all your wishes and prayers as well. I am so happy its unbelievable.

We made reservations through Gulf Air for the 19th of Sept. So hopefully once the passport is in hand we will get the tickets issued. POE will be chicago, IL our trip is kinda cool, we fly out here on the 19th and land in Bahrain at around 845 AM. The next connecting flight is like 12 hours later at 130 in the morning...(night). Gulf Air has arranged a hotel stay for that day and since My sister lives in Bahrain we will get to hang out with her as well. Then fly out to UK and then to home sweet home!

ALI - Heartiest Congratulations to you. See ya all in USA

L179... hugssssss..once again boht boht mubarak ho! I am sooo happy for you.. remember my midnite predictions about how both of us should be done by Sept. 8th.. I cant believe I spent hours n hours going through everyone's timeline from last year to give out such guesstimates.. now I can just look back at that and amuse myself.. at that time it was heart breaking to see longer AP's and hoping for a short one for all of us!!

Ali.. thank you soooo much for starting this thread.. it kept us all together and as lonely heart once said.. there was a lot of barakah in this thread.. inshaAllah soon everyone else will be with their loved ones as well.. :-)

arghhhhh thats brutal!

I never had a problem at POE except that once I was asked not to go to Pakistan SOOO MUCH that could result in abandoning my residency..I thought that was mean of him considering my whole family was in Pakistan! I just shook my head and went on my way! I can't even imagine being held for 5 hours :-(

we will have a 3-4 hours drive to MA once he arrives in NY so I just hope they clear him soon otehrwise he is gonna be sooo cranky after all that travel n wait :D

Hoping for a better POE experience inshaAllah!

w4a - congratulations....pick up the passport ASAP and get on the run...

oh btw for your previous post...if your hubby is traveling from KHI his best bet is to go Turkish Airlines. Its cheap and safe. I flew turkish from US to Pak. Only it does not fly from ISB so we are not able to take that airlines this time around.

best of luck
