Feisal - I am in Houston at the moment n my husband is in karachi...so i couldn't have seen u there but my husband was there very early too ..he was at the bus stop at around 6 something...so u might've been there i'll ask him! I have told him abt u that i think ur from karachi and u would be there...neways i m just prayin that he n everyone gets out of this mess! Also, i think they 101% put those ppl on AP who travels alot...for example my husband was livin in london before, u travel to uae alot, etc. and

Oh yeah the CO told my husband that on average it takes 3 MONTHS for AP to sort out!

L179 - My husband was told to call embassy for further inquiries...so do we call DOS or embassy? n we should def meet up once u r here in Texas...

u, feisal, haquetalha, and may be waiting4 approval... :)

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 Passport submitted

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

ATK_721, Congrats i mean now u know when ur hubby is atleast coming n u have something to look fwd too , im still waiting till AMEX calls my hubby then he will book his flight so hey u should b celebrating yaar :dance: .Let see when my hubby gets calls from AMEX hoping any day soon then i will start my count down hope it start soon :thumbs:

So I had sent an inquiry to embassy a few weeks ago regarding my husband's AP but no one replied.. I sent an email on Friday and this is what I got

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please wait and applicant will receive call or call letter from our office very soon.

Note: If the address or phone numbers of the applicant or petitioner have changed since the visa interview, please inform us. Please always mention your case number the subject line of your email.. Islamabad case numbers usually start with the letters ISL followed by 10 digits. (Example: ISL2009800019).

INSHALLAH INSHALLAH! Alhamdulillah! Congratulations on the good news! Inshallah everything goes smoothly and quickly for the two of you from now onwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^. Also, please pray for my husband and I....would be great if we only recieved ap for a little over a month too.....that way I could have my baby with my husband in the u.s and all would be well and peaceful again! :D

Thanks and yes finally I can breathe now.. they kept his passport at the interview so I am hoping that he will receive the visa soon. I just want him here ASAP now!

It took us 4 years, 6 months, 1 week and 1 day to hear this news.. Alhamdulillah!
