alhamdullilah got my passports today with visa. interview was on 9th may  2019 and was put on 221 g and given ds5535 form and after two months got the visas, dont lose hope . i know its very hard to wait

my case was put in AP since my interview 12th December 2018, and despite all the required documents were sent 3-4 months ago still no response from them .. its been 7+ months now since my interview and my case is been put into AP .

I contacted the senator of SC, the embassy of Isb give them a similar response .

and inform them about your situation to reschedule. I think that might work.

Thank you, I tried it but doesn't work. Have tried it again and hoping they respond.

I think they replied me in 4,5 days so it might take a while. But they do reply back usually.

I had my interview for IR-1 class on 9th January and the interview went well and the CO told me that I am good to go and I will be receiving my passport in 1-2 weeks. My status on the CEAC says Administrative Processing is it normal to have it after interview? Since I did not receive any 221G or any list I wanted to know how many days does it take to get the Issued status?

Everyone from everywhere has some form of AP after the interview as documents are checked and visa foil applied.  The question is how long?   It can range from a day to years. 

 

Pakistan is hard due to the inability to authenticate documents quickly and to verify backgrounds.
