Hi everyone, Our family (I-730) V92 asylum visas interview held islamabad embassy on November 2015.the consular officer keep our passports & said wait 2 or 3 months & give him nothing any paper or slip.but now 12th months are progress and we are not receive any respons from embassy.And our case is asylum so we cannot check our status on CEAC website.i emails the embassy many time but one reply your case is under administrative process.So what we can do if some one are same problem or some good idea then reply me.Thank you

NVC Transferred My Case to the Islamabad Embassy: September 13, 2016

Islamabad Embassy scheduled my Interview: October 27, 2016

Attended the interview on October 27, 2016 at the US consulate Islamabad and was given 221g form. Visa Officer said congratulation to me and asked a new Affidavit Of Support.

The status shows its in Administrative processing: October 27, 2016

I have sent my new Affidavit off Support to the embassy: November 05, 2016

Online Check) Its in Administrative processing but status updated date was changed to: November 06, 2016

Online Check) Its in Administrative processing but status updated date was changed to: November 15, 2016

Online Check) Its in Administrative processing but status updated date was changed to: November 21, 2016

the same day i had received an email from Embassy: November 21, 2016 and they said

Dear Applicant (name),

Your case file was reviewed recently for the joint sponsor (Name) affidavit that you submitted to our office.

Please note that the joint sponso (Name) affidavit of support is incomplete without his wife (name) submitting a form I-864A with her signature in original. Therefore, please consider submitting this form to our office as soon as you can.

Again I have sent my sponsor's wife I-864A to the embassy: December 06, 2016

Online Check) Its in Administrative processing but status updated date was changed to: December 20, 2016

Online Check) Its in Administrative processing but status updated date was changed to: December 22, 2016

Today is December 29, 2016 and haven't received any response from US Embassy Islamabad.

Hi, my i140 case is EB2 and sent to NVC Dec 23rd. Don't know if the NVC has received it by now or not!

My question is that I am a Pakistani working in KSA, which consulate does NVC assign for people not in the home country? Problem is that if they assign it to my home country (Islamabad) most cases there go under AP delays which is not feasible for me as I am working in KSA and would have to return as soon as my interview is done but I cannot do so as my passport might be stuck in Islamabad embassy for AP review.

Thoughts on this?

I am really sorry to hear that. But do u have any idea why did they ask about joint sponsor's wife i864? 

Because my joint sponsor filed taxes with his wife but i sent his i864 only and got my cc in dec without any checklist. So i was wondering if they are gonna ask me the same for his wife i864. I would really appreciate your help. Thankyou

if you have mentioned your present address KSA. and selected country of interview Saudi arabia, NVC will transfer your case to Riyadh embassy for interview. and number which will be assigned to case will start wit letter "RID"

I dont think my lawyer mentioned Interview place as Riyadh, present address is however KSA only. I talked to her that we need to make this amendment and she says it is easy; Once we get your NVC case number we just request to switch to a different embassy. I just hope there is no delay to this request.

yes you can change your interview place by change of address request to NVC but it will add a little delay

Thank you! How much delay are we talking about here? Since I don't even have an application number yet I was thinking it is a simple matter of case initial alphabet change from ISL to RID and the delay usually comes if the case is completed and already sent to the wrong embassy ...

I had my iv at islamabad consulate. Co asked my wife when would you travel to usa, since she was living with me in pakistan. She said once my husband gets the visa. Both of us will go together. So she asked my wife to submit usa ticket as an intent that she will return to us. My wife asked for both of us. She said yes and you can email tickets. Does anyone had similar experience. TIA

Its been 12 days and no response from Embassy. Only 1 time date updated probably because i sent them email.

Hi Every One !

I was interviewed on 20 July 2017 in US Embassy Islamabad. My doc perfect, but CO asked me lots of question, my qualification , my job, how to meet with my husband, Marriage is love or arrange. Can I meet with my husband , wedding photograph,interview went good but two question change the situation ,My traveling history about Iraq n Iran, My husband first marriage to us citizen he also got CR-1visa before 7 year but his marriage ended 5 year ago. Last year he start his new married life with me . Our marriage is totally arrange we didn't know before marriage. CO gave white paper with yellow hightlight line denied return my nikah nama and took my passport and put my case in under AP. My case was remained in AP till one month. No change happening in my case.

Please guide me, I m bit depressed and worried also.

They do not approve of arranged marriages only real ones!!! They are very beyond slow in ap it's takes maybe 3 months to year!! They don't care or realize u are waiting! Best of luck!
