is there anybuddy who is waiting for 2nd interview.

my case is in us embassy islamabad iam waiting for interview since dec 2014 embassy response me on dec 2014 they send me email and request new medical i have been done with everything i send couple of email to embassy online and try to contact them but there is no other way to contact them so i was like might someone went through here in this site please help me what should i do to contact them and get done with new finger prints

Hi all,

Great group, thanks all for sharing their valuable experience.
Please tell me regarding my case, I am Pakistani Citizen got married to US citizen. She is living with me in Pakistan. We gonna apply for immigration. I am confused about the mailing address of petition, what should it be, cause it is mentioned that if you are applying from a country without USCIS office then mail your package to Chicago lock box, They will only entertain you on special circumstances and none any circumstance is matched with my case . Please help me. Please help and enlightened me.

hi everyone there ,, i got my interview on 24 March 2015 at Us embassy in Islamabad Pakistan ,,,at the embassy they kept my passport and gave me 221g white form saying that my case is going in administrative processing and will take like 60 days to make a decision on it and did not ask for any paper or anything else to submit to them ,,, so now its being almost 60 days but i have not heard anything yet from them ,,,,,, but they only changed the date on my visa status 3 times ,,,last time it changed on 21 April 2015 ,,,, can anyone tell me that how much longer it can take and what is expected for us about my visa i am a spouse of a a Us citizen and we are so much worried please anybody help us,,,,my visa category is CR-1 somebody please help

My wife case put on AP since 02/24/16 interview, no status change, CO said to contact in 1 month.

Please share any suggestion and experience. What is a best way to make it faster.

I was issued 221g white slip for additional administrative processing at islamabad embassy in CR1 category.VO asked for to wait for one month and gave white slip 221g ticked with additional administrative processing.

Please comment what are signs and chances?

My passport and pics and medical was kept by VO.

Dates updated four times within three weeks on my status.

well..

just got back to home from my interview. a very strange thing happened to me. as i waited patiently and got to window when my token number shwon.

CO was in good mood with me he greeted me 1st. than he asked me

1=. my wife name

2= how did we meet

3=what does she do

after all these question he asked me for pictures and than HE ASKED ME IS MY WIFE IS CONVERT TO ISLAM ( SHE HAD HIJAB IN PIC).

I REPLIED YES!!!

than unexpected happened i been told to get back to me seat and wait. after 1 hour my token number called up again i advised to go in a room, where two officer asked me tons of questions and asked me same questions again and again. they were so rude and than they told me everything looks good to us.

but we need more time to process ur visa. they handed me over a white sheet , explaining that the case is in AP.

ANYONE ELSE GOING THRU SAME SITUATION OR BEEN TO??

It seems 1-4 months for AP is happening to majority of posters who went to ISB for interview - so don't think you have any extra reason to worry about.

01/2016: Petition filed for my visa
02/2016: USCIS confirmed receiving our file/petition on 1st Feb.
04/2016: I-130 Approval email received from DHS towards early May, our case was approved end of April. 
03/2017: Paid AoS and IV Bill
03/2017: Sent AoS and IV Packages via mail.
04/2017: 5th day of April, NVC received package. Can take up to 11 weeks for CC according to nvc.

06/2017: 6th day of June, Case Completed - confirmed via phone

07/2017: Interviewed end of July 2017.

>> Passport with Visa received the next day of interview 

8/2017: POE via JFK


05/2020: N400 Filed

06/2021: Biometrics taken

02/2022: Interview Scheduled (Yes, after 22 months -.- )

Hello All,

i had my interview on 1st June 2016 for an i-730 Petition V92 Visa's. everything went very smooth

i went to the Window first to Submit all the Documents and the second call was for the Fingerprints.

the last time i was called, the CO told me to raise my right hand and take an oath.

he asked me 5 question. only 5 questions and the last question was what do i do? i replied to him about my job status.

CO said, everything is good and i don't see any problem and i am approving this but we need 2 months to issue you the Visa. you can contact the embassy if you don't get your Passport by July.

My status was READY and after the Interview it has been changed to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING.

it has been 2 months now and the case is still in AP. i wasn't given any forms or papers. he just told me that i will get my passport in July with the Visa, if i don't get it in July i can contact the Embassy.

my husband had his interview today. A CO lady was very nice to him and enjoyed picture of our first baby born in june. she said that "your case is approved and you will receive your passport in couple of weeks. My husband asked if there is any receipt. she said that "no, you will receive your passport in your hometown soon" i wonder that why wasn't he given any slips? i know that all other get green/white slips. what does no slip indicate? as for the status online, it still shows "ready". i dont know if he will ACTUALLY receive visa or will be waiting. please share your experiences. thanks

Hello Everyone. thank you for the information,

i had my interview today at the Islamabad US embassy 9- Aug 2016, and they guy handed over me a white slip saying denied due to AP,

I discussed the matter with an person who use to work at a US embassy, he said sometimes the system itself pops up AP and the CO cannot overwrite it. lets hope it gets ok soon. Good Luck to all.

Same case here shezad, Today 9 Aug 2016 i was given the same white slip 221 g tick on the administrative processing, it also said your case has been denied which i got worried to see but tjhey say it is temporary not permanent.

Lets hope we get cleared soon.

we have 1-730 petition v92 visa and still AP after 12 months in islamabad.and we have not yet receive any respons from embassy.
