Hello vj members i just had my interview at ISl embassy. The CO lady was very nice and polite our interview( my 1 year old baby and me) went well, but CO said she cannot issue me visa rite now but after some time InshaAllah. When i inquired abt the time frame she said 1 to 3 months. I am really depressed now as nothing is in our hands although my case was fine and she demanded nothing at all. Please tell me how much time I have to wait for our visas??

The same thing happened to my husband, who had his interview just one day after yours! The lady at the Embassy was very nice and satisfied with all of his paperwork but said it would take 1-3 months for his visa. She said it could be longer but that is the general timeline. Let's hope and pray that what she said is true. InshaAllah.

My (Fahad) Interview was today 17th of January 2014, everything went well all answers all pictures everything was fine. But i have been put into AP, after they told me that, i notified them that our daughter will be born on the 17th of Feb exactly one month from today and if it is possible that it will be done before that, they said its highly unlikely but it should not take more than 3 months as our case is fine. I don't know what to do.

Hi Everyone,

My name is omer and i got married on jan,13th 2013. My wife applied my case in Feb, 2013 before NVC, and I got interviewed on October 25th,2013. where the C.O. put my Passport with her and she also put my case under A.P. by assuring me that i will get my visa issued within the time span of 3 to 4 moths. But now its been more than six and a half month up till now, and i haven't got any news about my visa yet.

Can anybody here help me and tell me that usually how much time does U.S.Embassy Islamababd takes to issue a visa by ending up the A.P.? what is the Average time of winding-up of A.P. by the U.S. Embassy Islamabad ? how much r they going to take more to Issue me my Visa ?

trust me guys this never ending Waite is so frustrating and now its killing me. :(

It just depends. My hubby was in AP for 1 month and 6 days and I am 100% it was just a name check because of info he gave on travel to Iran at the time of interview. He interviewed at the US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. He is here with me now. Good luck!
