I m also Stuck in AP even though my Interview Perfectly goes Well..Keep Praying about my Case too

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. cray5ol.gif

If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

Hi Every One !

I was interviewed on 29th January 2013 in US Embassy Islamabad. Visa Officer took my passport and put into proceedings. My case was remained in PENDING till one month. Later on it was updated as "NO STATUS". Which is really confusing for me. I sent 2 web based E-mails. In reply they said its in Administrative Processing. Its 6th month is continued and no change happening in my case.

Please guide me, is it normal duration or its a matter of concern now ???????? I m bit depressed and worried also.

I had interview on June 24, 09 at Islamabad embassy. We completed all that painfull process of sending alot of documents and then medical and everything and at the interview they gave me a green letter that says your case is under administrative processing and wait from six weeks to infinity. I was so pissed off but well nothing can be done about this. Anyway lets update each other who ever is going through this hard time and post our progress so we can atleast get some idea about average processing time for AP

Salam Ali bhai. Plz tell me about ur full name. Aur kia aapko visa mil gaya ha?

Hello vj members i just had my interview at ISl embassy. The CO lady was very nice and polite our interview( my 1 year old baby and me) went well, but CO said she cannot issue me visa rite now but after some time InshaAllah. When i inquired abt the time frame she said 1 to 3 months. I am really depressed now as nothing is in our hands although my case was fine and she demanded nothing at all. Please tell me how much time I have to wait for our visas??

What is the average time of AP for females with small kids?

I see lots of variation in the time, but the cases I have seen are mostly for men. I thought that they were only putting males through AP. Sorry, I do not have a better answer.

Can someone tell me whether this is a good sign or not. My wife had a immigrant visa interview on the 8th January and she was told to submit an additional document (her exit letter from Canada since she lived there for five years). But surprisingly no 221g slip was given which is very odd. Do you think this is a sign of very late waiting period or not. Normally people get green or a blue slip.

Can you contact your congressperson and ask for them to inquire about your case for you? I've read that sometimes that helps.
