I need to know place in karachi where my wife can take DS230 immigration picture? Any suggestion or place you guys used? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.....

Anyplace in karachi where i can translate and notarized the documents?

there is no need for going to a special place just go to any photographer and tell him that u need a picture of 2-2 (5cm-5cm) with white background and for the notarization you can go to the any nazim or you can go to kacheri, basically you can go to anyone who has the license and for the translation you can go to the any computer composer shop.

You really gave Pat one hell of a scare...I feel for her as my uncle(who has been the only good father-figure in my life)had two heart attacks one immediately after the other before he took himself to the hospital....and he is unfortunately in the worst condition I've ever seen him! Sometimes he still talks about eating fried foods and junk foods and what not(which got him in this mess in the first place)...he doesn't understand what it did to me...and all of us seeing him become so weak....from being the strongest man I'd ever known! I say this from bitter experience...please take care of yourself and focus on eating well and resting...and doing exactly what the doctor says...if not for your own sake (it does get hard) then please for Pat's sake..... I wish you well and the best of health INSHALLAH! AMEEN!!!

Because of my uncles heart-attack I have only been to see my husband for about 2 and a half weeks when I went to NY...Since I've been back (03/31) I have been here...and because of our financial situation and the baby...and my uncle being so ill I may have to stay here even longer. It is the worst kind of feeling...Allah helped us stay together through the thickest and the thinnest of our lives in Pakistan....and now that we are finally here in U.S. it has become almost impossible for us to stay together....I miss my husband every single day...every moment of every single day!!! I wish he could have been here for Faris Ali's birth...and I wish we were together now...not so apart!! Inshallah Allah will help us work things out.....financially and otherwise!! Please pray for us!

It is simply the strangest feeling to finally have everything we wished for and dreamed of....to be in the U.S...Haseeb get a job...get his commercial license(well.. commercial permit so far)and inshallah to be moving onto bigger and better things soon....but to be so far from eachother as it all happens. Being separated now is worse than being separated before we came to the U.S....because this was supposed to be it you know....the beginning of our lives and the ends of our depressing pasts! I'm sure Tara knows exactly how I feel....my mother is also the only person working to feed the entire household...which includes myself, the baby my father and my grandmother.....I have been looking for work for a while now....something flexible...but I also can't pull myself away from my baby....im just not ready yet. But I just can't watch my mom struggle like she does...it hurts. I want to help. Right now...my life is twisting and turning in ways I didn't ever think it would....but inshallah things are also getting better as the baby and I aren't with Haseeb right now...so that makes it easier for him to save money up and make sure we can be ready to move back when the time finally comes without a fear in the world financially....especially once the limo thing kicks in...its NY....so thats definitely one of the most profitable jobs Haseeb could be doing. Just pray for us...inshallah we will be together soon.

thanks Mumtaz. We received an email today from Embassy saying Zaheer's visa was sent thru courier yesterday. Today, he collected it frm SpeedEx office!!! He will, Insha'Allah be home by mother's day! Unfortunately, Stevie has a cold and is miserable.. but she should be well again by his arrival. Ur right though, I understand exactly how you feel. Its hard especially in this economy. I am sorry your mother is working so hard as well. My mother is also from Michigan, but moved to FL in the 70s. My dad is from Alabama and has only ever worked for Machine shops and he used to build the tools to work on Nasa's spacecraft, but they closed down his department here in FL and he had to take early retirement. Then started working at a company that makes Brain Surgery tools.. but got laid off because he kept editing the program to make it more efficient, but the engineers didnt appreciate that. We used to be a fairly upper middle class family like 12 yrs ago. Then all this happened, and now we are all struggling to get by. We live in a very wealthy town, surrounded by celebs and glamour.. but there is no way to afford cost of living. Anyhow.. I pray that things work out for you and haseeb and little Faris Ali. Zaheer and I are going to start importing Leather Goods and garments starting next month. I hope it works out on top of his job at the car dealership. take care... and be strong. Thanks so much everyone. and Mumtaz, he got the email from the embassy on the 23rd and received the visa on the 24th. So he already has it in his hand. SpeedEx was going to call but he walked in the door just as the girl was calling him. So they gave him the packet right then and there. Thanks so much to everyone for their prayers.

please update the tracker its these days are tension free days for me and my wife . i received the visa on 30 April 2010 and when i reached to the courior service they did not charge me any money for the visa delivery ,, i did not knew that visa delivery was free.

my AP was for 8 months
