:dance: :dance: Allhumdullilah Allah is great i have goood news guys yes i cant believe id b saying this or even typing but hey u guys were right since i guess they r working on giving out visas Ok i called DOS today again since friday i was devastated and full of tears since it was also our wedding anniversary yes 4th wedding anniversary and all of em i spent them alone wasnt easy so i cried my heart out on friday so monday i was super afraid since whenever i calld and i hear same answer i just get more upset so anyways today i called and this lady answered they put u in hold whenever u call but this lady she answerd fone very polite lady and then she put me on hold this is very first time i was put on hold twice so i was hoping for good news then after ten minutes she is like im not suppose to tell u but its been issued , i was like WHAT can u say that again has visa been issued she said yes just today its been sent but i dont know how long does it takes u have to wait 5 to 6 days has his passport been submited i said yes after his interview they kept his interview and i kept still asking her since i couldnt belive my ears i said so it means the visa just got issued today she said again yes but she said dont get ur tickets and all that done now i said yes ofcourse we will wait till he gets his passport back then again i asked her how many days u think he will get call she said approx 5 to 6 days then i said that means next week he should get call she said yes .So many thanks to Allah and all of u guys were very helpful now im so much relieved 4 long yrs of waiting wasn't easy ,But Allahumdullilah "Dair ay duraast ay " luv that saying now never liked it b4 since didnt know how long.NOW i cant wait to tell my hubby when i called DOS it was his late night in pak but i still tried calling him but i guess he was sound asleep now i cant wait to call him again tonight since my morning when he called we both were so upset now i cant wait to break good news .Allhumdullilah .

Congrats LOnely heart....so ur not lonely anymore Yes I think they issue visa before they even call for passport.

I called today and the lady said visa was issued on Aug 3rd but they requested his passport on the 6th.

Thank u Hopeful786 for feeling my pain , for past 4 yrs i've been eating living breathing stress and full of tears so finally Allah has heard our prayers .Still i get the what ifs i mean i asked the lady so many times until my hubby gets his passport thats when i will have real celebrations INSHALAAH wish u all the best if it can happen to me meaning getting good news inshalaah all of u will hear good news soon wont have to wait how long we had to i hope and always pray that this doesnt happen to anyone what we went through .All the best to all of u who r waiting for their spouses may Allah re unite all the spouses together soon Ameen.

ps: Atk's husband picked up his passport today mashaAllah.. he will be here soon and she is sooo gonna abandon me by ditching my weekend calls (nonetheless I am super happy for her )

Hubby got a call today around 1:30pm(PST) from Amex to pick up his passport,he was in islamabad n was leaving for Karachi tomorrow so it was just perfect timing.He picked up his passport around 3:30(PST).Visa was issued on August 3rd as the first lady from DOS told me yesterday so apparently they issue visas even before requesting passport which is great.I dnt know y the operator i got later yesterday told me its pending processing apparently she want me to just hangup as i called at 4:58pm so she just wanted to go home..... Visa expires Feb 10th,2010.

Waiting for approval:We will still talk as he gets mad jealous if i talk to my friends n i luv making him jealous but what abt when ur hubby gets here

Congrats Atk_721 for ur hubby gettting his visa when is he coming?All the best .Question i have for Atk_721 how long did ur hubby had to wait after knowing that visa was being issued and for him to get visa in his hand , plus did he had his passport submitted now or time of his interview???
