I had a EAD card 2 years ago for my internship based on OPT, not CPT. and that card was only good for that summer 2 months and had a A-number on it.

now when I fill out I-130 and I-485 forms, do I use that A-number? or they will issue me a new A-number.

also when I file AOS package, on the EAD application, do I do renewal based on my old card?

Yes use that A#, it is a number that USCIS assigned to YOU, and this will help them do name checks, they will use it to pull your file.

Yes use the A# on your latest EAD. You will be given a new A# (printed on I-485 reciept) and all your older A#s will be consolidated/linked with the new one.

Check "Permission to accept employment" because your new application is based of your I-485 and is not the renewal of previous OPT-based authorization.

Note I-765 will have (c )(9 ) on line 16, because it is based on pending I-485. This is part of the $1010 paid for the I-485.
