My turned out to be a half page, single spaced basically telling how I went to visit my fiance, what we did, when I went, where we went, how we talked to his family about marriage. I know other people just write one line so whatever you feel comfortable with will be ok.

We said we met online and the date, then when and where we met in person for the first time and the date, and then described a few other times we were together with both our families and the dates.

It was probably no more than half a page.

Mine also turned out to be around half a page long, single-spaced. I basically wrote about when we met, when we became a couple (month and year), the dates we have seen each other, our plans for marriage upon his arrival to the U.S. Basically, everything sarah and hicham said.

Also, on the actual form I-129F, on the question line, I typed in 'See attachment'. Then I typed out the explanation of our meeting on a separate page making sure to add the date, label it as an attachment, and signing the page at the end.

Hope this helps

I pretty much did the same as everyone else has been stating...

Make sure to mention specifics as to how you first met (specific dates, names of places and what you did). Also talk about the evolution of the relationship....when you became exclusive, all the dates you have met and when you got engaged.

Anything that can prove to them that you have a LEGIT relationship with intentions of marrying....

11/27/04 - First met

Use Q18 to detail how you met in person in the required 2 year period which in turn established the relationship. The evidence you then submit supports those details.
