in my last post I described how we called the USCIS and our case "wasn't on file". Well the 23rd (my birthday) I traveled 400 miles to have an infopass meeting where they said everything was right on track and I was as good as gold and am just being impatient.

Now today I get another RFE in the mail.... 2 and a half months after my first one. The RFE was pretty much a copy of the original they sent me with items highlighted in red AND yellow... all of the same items I sent them months ago. They made it look like I hadn't sent them anything.

What bugs me the most is that they put a LOT of emphasis on the "must be returned in 45 days". Well why when I sent them the more evidence back in the first week of april would they wait until the last week in june to send another RFE?

I'm really upset about this and my wife is balling her eyes out. All she wants to do is have a job and we've been good little boys and girls and haven't gotten her anything under the table but we're starting to consider...

All I really know to do is go to a congressman about it but I'm not even sure if that'll help.

When you sent in the requested documents did you include a copy of the RFE and note the case # as well on the cover letter? Did you send it with delivery confirmation that you can verify the documents were received?

It does sound like your docs didn't make it to your file.
