Hi, A quick run down on my parents situation. Mom's 1130 approved and we sent DS3032 and I864 and they are all fine but for my dad there was a mistake in the DS3032 so we had to resent it. We are still waiting to get I864 back.

But my question is during this time can my parents travel to the US on a B2 visa? Will there be a problem at the Port of Entry since this is a non immigrant visa and also because there immigrant petition is being processed.

Would their visitor visa be denied at POE if so will that affect the outcome of consular processing. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

My parents came to visit durring the NVC stage.. they had no issues at POE they had brought their NOA2 in case the CBP Officer wanted to see it but they were not asked for it. They did tell the officer that they were visiting me a USC for 1 month and then they would be returning to the UK to do their medical and Embassy interview. The Officer wished them a good vaccation and good luck for their Visa Interview.
